I'm not sure why people think this is expensive. A decent 32" monitor for photo editing is over a grand. This is 55", OLED and high-refresh on top. Of course it costs an arm and a leg.

DP 1.2 is a confirmed typo, HDMI 2.0 is what everybody uses these days. Though I won't deny for the asking price they could have thrown in HDMI 2.1 and DP 2.0.
