G.SKILL Memory First to Break DDR4 6 GHz World Record Speed

G.SKILL, the world's leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is very thrilled to announce a new world record for the fastest memory frequency at DDR4-6016.8 MHz, being the first ever to break through the DDR4-6000 barrier. This milestone is set by the Taiwanese professional overclocker, TopPC, using G.SKILL DDR4 Trident Z Royal memory on the latest MSI MPG Z390I GAMING EDGE AC motherboard and Intel Core i9-9900K processor.

Just 3 short months after the world record DDR4-5886MHz set by Toppc at the G.SKILL Computex booth in June, Toppc has once again set a new world record for memory frequency speed and is the first to push DDR4 memory to an astonishing 6 GHz. I know this is being ultra picky, but is this person known as TopPC or Toppc? They could have at least been consistent in the press release.

Some enthusiasts don't care for the additional bling that arrives with the Trident Z Royal kits in gold or silver.

And I completely get that.

But if you want one of the higher binned kits from Gskill and the latest 10-layer PCB 2.0, and the best "chance" at a stable daily oc. And that's all it is, you're only buying a better chance, not even the speed on the kit is guaranteed.

Was considering the gray and black slightly older Trident Z RGB kits with the opaque white light strip, but when powered OFF the white would have clashed with my black gray build even more than the transparent light strip of the Royals.

Had some serious reservations and trepidations prior to ordering, but when you plug in a solid static color, and go with the silver which is simply nickel chromium - a mirror finish, the overall aesthetic isn't so bad. At the very least, the silver kits will sort of match your build by reflecting your build, if that makes any sense at all. lol

The 2nd pic, with a greater field of view may be an improved overall image for some. Maybe the farther away you get - the better the Silver Royal kit looks. lolol.

Overall and jokes aside, I like it!
