Phanteks Unveils the NEON Flexible Digital-LED Strips

Phanteks announced today the arrival of the new Neon Digital-RGB LED strips. The Neon Digital-RGB LED will come in three different options, M1 with 1x 1-meter LED strip, M5 with 1x 550 mm LED strips, and a combo kit that includes 2x 400 mm LED strip with motherboard adapter and extension cable.

All Neon Digital-RGB LED strips features an ultra-flexible silicone cover for durability and high-quality LEDs with a full-color range that creates a smooth and stable illumination effect throughout the LED strip. Easy to install with many mounting positions to get the perfect lighting on your hardware.

Im not a huge RGB but i can tell you why i want something like this....

I hope they do coloured non RGB strips because I would rather pay less for just one colour to funk up my PC then pay the RGB Premium for that specific feature i dont even need....
Just give me a White, Red or Blue single colour strip and im golden.

My balls are insanely tickled right now.

Mobo needs to have an ARGB header(3 pin, +5v), plugging into a simple rgb header(4pin, +12v) will kill the leds

And these flexible neon leds have already been around for years, I used them in a build over a year ago, just go on aliexpress and look up flexible rgb led. I literally just bought 3 meters of fully addressable flexible neon with a power supply and a controller to wire up a friend's computer room for about $30. And they have it with all different addressable ICs and down to diameters of 5mm-8mm

It's crazy to me how these PC brands take products that have been out for years, more than double the price, and then add proprietary connectors to lock you into an eco system, and the PC community thinks it's revolutionary....

They same thing goes for $17/m on aliexpress and it's unterminated, so 19.99 isn't that bad.

This is why I love Phanteks! Looks good with great diffusion, simple and even the curved tracks are a good idea. There are LED strips already for sure but this looks well made.

You reckon I can plug these into a Corsair iCUE Commander Pro? Its got 2 RGB LED 3-pin inputs. Manual says: Power Input: RGB LED 4.5V to 5.5V
