I think Cooler Master lost their way.

Not sure how you see the cryorig H5 is better. the difference I saw is small, but in the higher voltage/OC H5 didnt even make it.

CoolerMaster make plenty of good cooling options, just most of their the bang-for-the-buck is around the 212 series.

the V8 series and it's design derivatives don't seem to be that good - this looks like the old v8.

Sandwiching a 57CFM 120mm fan between two fin stacks just isnt enough, much better to sandwich a 212 hyper between 2 fans.

Maybe if you replaced that fan with an ML or a Noctua A12 it would be ok...

Had a spare 212 and was lazy enough to use it vanilla.
Push-pull noctua a12 made a heaven-and-earth difference.

One fan? Pulling through fins and pushing air out through them makes for a really sloppy airflow.
RGB speaks for itself too, perf per dollar might not be great...

Yep this is definitely for those users who lamented on the Wraith ripper cooler being only available for TR4 builds.

I find it funny how they say their fan has the perfect optimization between air flow and pressure as if such a thing exists.

Performance-wise, meh, it's ok, but nuthin to get all googly-eyed about

What's up with the results for the Corsair water coolers on those graphs.... Somehow the more voltage you throw at it the cooler the chips runs???

My problem with Anything coolermaster that comes with their own fans is - the goddamn bearing drone/hum. It's utterly unacceptable.

Especially on the ML240R fans - jesus wept, the drone from the bearings in those is *so* loud and obnoxious that I threw the whole thing out. Just sooooo horrible. Same with the fans on the Hyper 212 Black! It's fan drones like a church minister too...

Cooler master is so lazy and boring.
They haven't changed their lackluster fan blade design for years, they just keep re-releasing old stuff with RGB.
It is kinda impressive that how they can make rifle bearing so damn loud lol

Is the fan replaceable? Is there future socket support promised?

Having just used intsalled my Noctua on it's fourth different mounting kit (for free, thanks again Noctua!) I'm struggling to see why anyone would buy an air cooler from anyone else unless they also offer support for future sockets and interchangeability with other fans.

Changing the fan on this looks like a royal faff, if it's not a bespoke unit with additional moulded plastic for this specific cooler.

you do realize that the MA620P is not the same cooler as the MA620m which we have no numbers on yet making your statement that the cryorig is better irrelevant and the Cryorig H5 Ultimate score 3/4 of a degree worse than the MA620P which is basically even. and since when does it matter how many fin stacks they have performance is all that really matters

1) Put commas and periods or full stops where applicable.
2) I know it's premature to call them out precedent also matters. If they can't make dual-tower coolers that's cooler than a single tower one, it calls into question their talent/competence at making decent coolers.
3) It matters. In paper MA620P should've been a monster. Six heatpipes. Two heatsinks to isolate and dissipate each end of the heatpipes. iirc heatpipe direct contact base. Comes with two fans. It's so big that at default push-pull configuration it covers three ram slots.

But what does it matter when a cheaper (at least here. both H5s cost $10-12 less than MA620P) cooler performs better? For comparison H5 has four heatpipes. One heatsink. One fan. Ultimate covers one ram slot while universal covers none. Baseplate is nickel plated copper.
