EK, the leading premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is releasing the EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water block as a part of the Fluid Gaming lineup. This water block is compatible with reference design AMD Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT graphics cards as well. One of the current best-buy graphics cards just got a best-buy block made of aluminium to make the ultimate combo for budget-oriented buyers that value silence and maximum performance with enhanced reliability and longevity.

This aluminium water block directly cools the GPU, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, and VRM (voltage regulation module) as cooling liquid is channeled directly over these critical areas. The base of the block is made of high-quality aluminium while the top is made of glass-like acrylic material. The entire water block is lit up with D-RGB (Addressable) LED. Sealing is ensured by high-quality EPDM O-Rings with the standoffs already pre-installed allowing for a safe and easy installation procedure.

The EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water block comes equipped with an integrated D-RGB (addressable) lighting solution, where each LED is individually addressable and controllable through the motherboard RGB software. For the correct header, please consult your motherboard manual, connect it to a 5 V D-RGB (A_RGB) header on your motherboard.

Compatibility
The EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water blocks are compatible with the reference design Radeon RX 5700 and RX5700 XT graphics cards.

Overclocking
Liquid cooling your Radeon RX 5700 GPU will allow you to overclock it to the maximum clock allowed by the card and reach up to 20% better results depending on the workload or game you're playing. Even while overclocked your card will reach far lower temperatures and less noise than factory clocked with air cooling ensuring an even longer lifespan of the card.
Availability and pricing

The EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB blocks are made in Slovenia, Europe and are available for pre-order through the EK Webshop or EK Partner Reseller Network. They will start shipping on Wednesday, the 23rd of October 2019! In the table below you can see manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) with VAT included.

EK-AC Radeon RX 5700 +XT D-RGB: 109.90€

Too bad it seems like EK's machining quality has tanked, they say it's too be expected and accepted.

I'd rather have them put the cost of the lights into the machining and sell RGB as an optional upgrade.

This is my last EKWB hardware until they improve.

What are you basing this on , how and why do you think they are worse?.

I just received a large qty of their nvme heatsinks for some client builds, and they look identical (machining quality-wise) to the ones I bought for myself 2 years ago. Granted they are not water blocks, but then again, perhaps thats where they are cutting corners, just to squeeze out some additional profit from their customers.... I'm just guessing, since I don't do WC rigs and have no basis for comparison other than the above...

V2 block for a client/friend.

I could file my finger nails with the block contact patches. The back plate looks oily because of the machining marks on top causing light to refract, the under side was fugly, cutter marks everywhere and aluminium dust. Then a nice razor blade of a lip on the backplate outer edge. It's because they pushed a dull cutter with an excessive feed rate.

Piss poor machining quality compared to Aquacomputer, Watercool.de, and even Byski. It was EK's support that told me that it was normal for their blocks to have such bad finishes and machining.

Oh and RGB that can't be removed it's cast into a main part of the block. So a wire just dangling unless you destructively modify it.

Lucky the friend is understanding, because I recommended that thing.

I have an EK m.2 sink, for the price... It is made well... For the $20 it cost me, it better... lol
