Glorious PC Gaming race, which gave us the category-defining Model O lightweight gaming mouse, unveiled its new, affordable, and ergonomic sibling, the Model D. The company didn't put out detailed specs, except talking about its biggest attributes. To begin with, the mouse appears to be either ambidextrous or quasi-ambidextrous (having two buttons on its left side). You get an on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment button. Illumination includes RGB LED lighting diffusers along the sides, and the scroll-wheel. The mouse comes in four trims: black, white, and their sub-trims, glossy and matte. Its most important spec is its weight, which tips the scales under 69 g. Priced at USD $49.99, it's slated to come out some time this December.

Oh yeah, gunk collecting holes on the top! It's like this was designed by someone who's never actually used a mouse for a prolonged amount of time.

The current Model O has a flat design. This one is tilted similar to the Intellimouse 3.0, so no, it is not ambidextrous.
I have had the Model O for a while, and it is indeed Glorious.

Huh, you're right. It's even worse than I though.

I don't understand why you are criticizing a product you've never tried. Theres no gunk buildup in the mouse, this design has been used for years. Wash your hands.

You wash your hands every hour when you play? you know your hands are organic right?

Those mice are for people that treat them like one year disposal stuff, this design is totally not durable in any form or shape.

Speaking from experience? I've had mine since launch and it still looks brand new.

Well i have no idea how this is possible, i am a pro gamer and play a lot (you don't need this kinda of mouse if you aren't anyway) and yes after 1 year my mice need cleaning. Like anything that touches your body. Well basic biology lessons, really.

And if you don't use it a lot, you will get dust inside it. I mean there is so many cons on durability to have holes on your mouse...

LOL. This is by far the stupidest thing I have read for a while. Someone reading this shit is gonna miss out on the benefits of a lightweight ergo mouse, all because you are a stupid grease bag. Been using an air58/model O for a year now and both of the mice are fine. Do you think the manufacturers aren't going to make a mouse durable if it has holes? Oh there are "so many cons on durability to have holes on your mouse", name anything other than a bit of dust which does nothing. What are you cleaning btw? Unless there are balls of grease forming from your disgusting hands I don't see why you would clean it. There is nothing wrong with mice with holes, putting people off them is stupid. They are just as durable as any other mouse, your decision should be majority based on what shape fits your hand the best.

haha this is coming from the guy who said he needed to clean his mouse after the same amount of time. Again you're spitting out nonsense. There are no signs of "gunk" or any other kind of unclean buildup in my mouse and I doubt that in a years time I will magically wake up and find "gunk" in my mouse. Just like a keyboard, you are going to get it dirty if you get your hand dirty with Dorito's residue and then try and use it.

How is $50 not affordable? Affordable means that the average person can afford it. It does not mean DIRT CHEAP. With most people spending around $50 on a mouse, then yes it is affordable. There are mice like Finalmouse that are going for $150+.

Oh because your hands doesn't sweat? you have magic hands? or is it that you are casual user and so yes your mouse is clean if you don't touch it.

I just made an account to comment on this nonsense.
1. They seal the PCB and all internals with dust and sweat resistant coating.
2. They are easily cleaned with a quick blast from a can of compressed air which any pc user should have lying around anyways.
3. If it does break, which it very likely won't, you can buy 2 more and still you won't be up to the same cost as one GPW or VIPER U.
4. These mice also come with Omron 20's, 3360, virgin ptfe feet, replaceable paracord styled cable, and has been updated on every issue customers have brought forward.
Tighter cable weave, Updates box shape so cable doesn't kink, adressed shell flex issues as well as button wobble issues.

You have GPW's having double click issues coming up all the time within a year and its a pro tier mouse. Other mice with any kind of rubber grip are also going to be less durable than this mouse in the sense that the grip will wear.
You guys saying the holes are bad in anyway are making assumptions that are simply uneducated.
