Considering we're now seeing round 2 of additional AIB customs for the 5700 (this and the upcoming Gigabyte AORUS XT), I wonder if the PowerColor Liquid Devil is also due to be announced soon, and to be a bit more on-topic, if Asrock would also do an RX 5700 XT "Aqua Edition" in a similar vein (to the PowerColor Liquid Devil) using the Taichi variant as a base.

Does it... though?

I mean, look at the market. Some good versions can still cost a pretty penny and AIBs don't seem bothered at all. Even the promised Pulse 409$ version is mostly a 419$ version.
Why the 10$ more? because nobody really cares, they can jack the price up however they feel like.

On the other side, some good versions are actually fairly priced. Currently Gigabyte's Gaming version is available for 399$ on amazon. Its one of the best versions of the card available.

There's plenty of 2060/2070 super partner cards that sell below msrp.
I guess that's also on the price and quality of reference designs.

I can get the powercolor (dual fan) XT for 360 right now lol. Cheapest 2070 Special in the head is 500, it seems. That's not even a contest.
