Microsoft Releases Windows 10 November 2019 Update (1909)

Yup, we all want a major security breach on our desktops for all to see.
And MS proves once again that they have no clue or just don't care
about security.

Outside of switching to Linux or Apple ( maybe? ) the world is
trapped on the information age version of the Titanic...

It took me around 1 minute to install it, plus reboot. Nice, very nice.
Wow! That’s an immensely small feature update!

its not that they dont care, its that it will hamper their ability to collect "telemetry data", theirs and everyone else's.

I suppose that is the perk of actually having it on your PC as part of the last monthly update, then just enabling features.
Interesting approach, but internet seems to like it for some straaange reason :P

IOW, your saying both... don't care and don't know?

Who doesn't know that "collecting data" automatically makes you a target for data theft?
And not even the NSA has escaped that one...

is it just me or is every single entry in that whole changelog completely irrelevant for what you do?

Well, they realized that it was impossible to get the thing "stable" in time for release as is, much less if they added too many changes.

Also, it seems Skip Ahead is now gone. From now on, once MS thinks it's fine, they ship the new builds straight to all Fast Ring insiders.

Yep. To me it reads like:
- we washed the office windows (the real friggin ones)
- we fixed a hole in the plaster wall in the cafeteria
- Mike from HR got a baby son! Gratz, Mike!
- oh, we also fixed a mouse pointer bug.

fifa 19 update m$ edition

Honestly this is the first update in awhile that didn't bork my system

And it just took them 4 years to get it right.

That's just sad.

Got the update already. Installed fine.

I mean this has the scheduler improvements, which are useful because the Windows Scheduler has always been dire. It's probably still rubbish, but at least it's better than it was.

Somehow it fixed the live tv online audio out of sync. It was very annoying, all seems good now.:)

Well, the next day audio was out of sync again with live tv, installed the latest realtek driver now, sofar so good...
