Thanks for holding to the Topic! It's what I figured the way they'd get these chips... A hopp-up Navi 14 to get a 5500 XT while a gelded variant of Navi 10, but if that gives them the perf/watts/price this can sustain them till RDNA2 (re-spins) fulfill a more full stack of offerings.

The 6GB explains the 192 bit memory bus. Having 8 chips would proberly do 256bits.

Since its on GDDR6 even 192bit offers plenty of bandwidth.

yetthey do what mcdonalds does and adjust the price to the average income somewhat.. only where people are more drawn to their products they keep the price higher on average...
300€+ for a gpu is not mainstream any more...

I feel like 250-275-280€ is maximum for higher midrange gaming that the majority of people use for 3-4years to come

Well, on the adjusting topic, minimum salary here is under 600, need to months to buy fast graphics, prices on Europe are the same, either you earn 3k or 600€...

Now on the topic, if 5500xt goes for 200 and is faster than 1650s, it's a good deal...

Ok, just slightly cut down, guess they couldn't save the 8gb.

I've got 2 older rigs still using still using a 7970 & the other 2x 280X crossfire. These cards still work amazingly well today in 1080.

As to a 5600 SKU's... If I made a wild guess there's still a Navi 10 that can be gelded below a RX 5700 while still a 256 Bit Bus and Shaders between 2048-2304, while maybe further cuts in TMU's and ROP counts and lower TDP to get on one 8-Pin. A card that goes against the RTX 2060

While as member "_Flare" above points to a final "use-up" with a whole Array deactivated, making a 192-Bit 6Gb, while available for like a $220 price point but works like a Vega 56.

It hark en's back to "Big Chips" like (Tahti or GK 104) that where used in cards like the HD 7870 XT or GTX 660 Ti.
