HIS Announces Pink, Blue Army Versions of AMD's RX 5700 XT Graphics Card

The Galaxy one is not bad.

I mean kudos for really going outside the box, but this is just a little too far out...

Interchangeable components even if aesthetic would be a nightmare for OEMs/AIBs. They need to standardize the cooling or issue strict warranty terms to avoid problems.

Sapphire does or did allow some fan and shroud customization on their 2-fan Nitro+ GPUs from the Polaris series; fan customization covered their 92mm-using GPUs while the backplates and shrouds were for the 590/580/570 editions.

That is quick of HIS to captilize on the recent "cute edition GPU" trend.

I mean there are a lot of anime lovers who would gladly buy these.

PC hardware need some feminine touch alright~

I'm tempted to get the Galax one just for the sake of it. Already got the Yeston Cute Pet 580 to build for my youngest cousin who likes cute things, and just waiting for the Yeston "Sakura" 5700 XT to become more reasonably priced before snagging one of those. Though I do wish Yeston did what Galax did and have the backplate image properly "facing" towards the case window instead of towards the mobo.

As to the topic, I'm sure there's a "HIS and HERS" joke somewhere, but would probably result in a "did you assume gender" comment. That aside, the blue one wouldn't be all that bad for a Navy-themed or colored build.

While I do appreciate the current trend of GPU designs, some novelty variants are never a bad thing; half the PC building is the looks and personalization after all. Really though, I wonder when will we get full OLED-wrapped GPUs. As in; the entire shroud and backplate each has an OLED screen layer for next-level personalization (of course, with vents/holes cut where necessary). Turn it off for a glossy black look; turn them on and set the colors or animation themed to one's mood or favorite game. Blower-types would have a more continuous OLED screen "canvas" to play with, whereas fan-types are more similar to the Galax anime one above; except with OLED screens instead of inserts.

OMG. They will stick boobs everywhere. Even on a GPU now. Unbelievable.

Anyway I would not buy that card. The pattern and the color make my eye bleed.

Backplates look good, however the fan shroud... That "so-called-camo" has a putrid pattern, also materials look really cheap.

I regret turning off adblock in order to see the pictures.
TPU was trying to do me a favor.

How old are you? You sound like someone who's in their late-30s, might as well claim 40 to early to mid-50's that tries to sound hip and cool by using trendy sounding words/phrases that haven't and probably won't catch on. Old trend was to delete syllables and/or mash up words together, so now it's ummm, slapping labels on things again I suppose?

"Ok boomer" is a direct response to the boomer issued "snowflake" label for millenials. You can't claim we aren't playing ball with their game (almost like we were raised by boomers or something).

Either way his point is valid. Don't like it, don't buy. If you are losing hope over anything over this, get your head looked at.

Oh my Christ.

All hope for the new generation has left the building.
Lol, I wouldn't worry too much about this being what tips our culture over the edge, considering how most people posting here couldn't buy one if they wanted to. So I doubt it will have much impact on the kids. Though either way, when have the younger generations ever had good taste? It's hard when you're still new to the world and everything seems like it's made by wizards. Give them some time to realize that everything sucks and the wizards are actually just magicians. Let them be happy for awhile. I'm sure you liked some shit that sucks when you were younger. But somehow you survived it! :p

Honestly, as a hopeless member of one of the younger generations, I'm disappointed that the anime tiddies didn't take up more space on the card. Like, man! WOW! You have a dual-slot card. It has two fans right next to each other. A nice pair of fans. What on the female body are there ALSO two of? With circular... things, in the middle of them, even? CMONNNN.... such a missed opportunity. What a letdown :/ No wonder I've never heard of it.

Also, I legit lost it when you said "feminine touch." Because nothing screams 'feminine touch' like a skinny young girl with tits the size of her head flopping around at juuuussstt the right angles. Exactly what we need to bring more women to the hobby. They'll love having stuff that's just for them! Everyone knows that men fundamentally can't understand the apex of happiness and fulfillment that comes with having a waifu.

I feel like this is a Zenitsu reference somehow...

OLED canvas? That's certainly interesting. Although very expensive too, maybe.

Okay, but does that belong here. I don't see anyone going around calling others snowflake on these forums.

Not everything is in gunmental, black or white equals to no hope of new gen?

ok boomer~
Better get to your safe space!

Edit:

My mom is a boomer.

Do you have some info about her system specs? Science related obviously...

Honestly, I find nothing wrong about these two cards. Not my style, and I wouldn't buy them.

But if they can find a market (and I'm sure they can) then go ahead and sell them. More differentiation in the market is never a bad thing, guys.

Really? We must post on different forums.

Granted, I agree both do not belong here.

Just one thing;

why doesn't the pink one say 'HERS' on the backplate?
