Patriot at CES 2020 showcased two new products that will be added to their portfolio in the form of the P210 and P220 SSDs. The company has already built a reputation for themselves with their high-performance VPN100 and VP4100 SSDs in the M.2 form-factor, and are now adding some budget padding to their lineup with the 2.5", SATA-based P210 and P220. The P220 will be available in up to 4 TB capacities and features Phison's S12 controller, whilst the P210 will offer only up to 2 TB maximum storage and an undisclosed next-gen SMI 2259XT Next-Gen controller.

The company also showcased their numerous other products, including their high-performance V380 7.1 surround headset; their V550 and V551 gaming mice; as well as their Viper DIMMs, in the form of the Viper Elite, Viper 4 Blackout (introduced with maximum compatibility for AMD's Ryzen 3000 series) and Viper RGB.

WOW - more news about companies bringing out 4TB SSD.

Thank Goodness Samsung will finally have competition and the prices of the QVO and EVO will be pushed down.

I'd say 4TB is all most gaming laptop users would need.

My breaking point is $100 per TB ...or 4TB for $400.
