As the world's most popular GAMING graphics card brand, MSI is proud to introduce its full line up of graphics cards based on new AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card with considerable performance. Furnished with the new AMD RDNA gaming architecture - Efficiently energetic, RDNA architecture was designed to deliver incredible performance, scalability and power efficiency. Built on the 7 nm FinFET process and delivering higher performance-per-watt compared to the previous architecture. The Radeon RX 5600 XT Series will be available as GAMING and MECH.

These AMD RDNA architecture-powered GAMING cards feature the new MSI exclusive Innovative Power Allocation Technology. This technology ensures that the card will draw its power from the power supply rather than the PCIe slot on the motherboard, resulting in a cleaner power signal and preventing any issues with the motherboard.

Secret of MSI Cooling
As the leader of cooling among all graphics cards, we know that the most challenging part of producing a graphics card is perfectly balancing both heat and noise when cooling a high-performance GPU. This is where MSI has focused its efforts on the GAMING series for the past years and the MSI Radeon RX 5600 XT GAMING series delivers on this promise. With MSI's compacted square heat pipe, graphics cards can dissipate more heat even faster than traditional oval shape heat pipes, which helps to keep GPU temperatures low.

Rock Solid Base
Bolstering the GAMING series, the metal backplate provides aesthetical value and also strengthens the graphics card to prevent any bending. Besides this, the backplate also helps to passively cool the card by using thermal pads to transfer the heat and holes to increase airflow and dissipation.

Brilliant Display of Colors
Choose your unique look from millions of available colors and provide a finishing touch with any of the predefined animated effects. A fresh new look & feel is just a few clicks away. You can easily customize and control the RGB lights by using the exclusive Dragon Center software. MSI Mystic Light also lets you synchronize the RGB lighting with other third-party products.

Radeon RX 5600 XT MECH Series
The Radeon RX 5600 XT MECH series is the upgraded version of the popular VENTUS design. MECH features a steely gray color in the front, representing the solid characteristics of giant armored battle suits. Using the premium TORX FAN 3.0 helps to ensure excellent thermal performance while reducing noise as well. MECH is an excellent all-round choice for gamers expecting a solid experience.

MSI Afterburner
MSI Afterburner is the world's most recognized and widely used graphics card Overclocking software. It gives you full control of your graphics card and enables you to monitor your system's key metrics in real-time. Afterburner gives you a free performance boost for a smooth in-game experience thanks to higher FPS.

MSI Dragon Center
MSI Dragon Center is a brand-new software platform with the goal to integrate all MSI software for components, desktops, laptops and peripherals. The all-new software features Gaming Mode, which instantly optimizes your hardware for the best gaming experience including SSD, monitor and network settings. This budding new software platform will continue to improve and evolve, including more unique functionalities and benefits for MSI users.

Availability
The new MSI Radeon RX 5600 XT series cards are expected to be available starting 21st January 2020.

MSI does a good job with coolers and pushing cards to perform better than average. Not sure why they have two 8 pin connectors though.

Because many of these premium 5600 XT cards reuse product designs of 5700-series.

Yeah, well, the next logical step after an 8pin connector is either 6pin+6pin or 8pin+6pin.
At the end of the day, any decent PSU will accommodate all the above, so it's not a problem for the end user. The only "problem" is the out-of-the-box overclocks don't need any additional connector.

I'm not sure there are any "cooling problems". It's just a dense chip. It'll be hotter than 14nm counterparts.
7nm GPUs will force more robust cooling solutions even at power consumption similar to what we're used to.

MECH cooler looks like a repainted Ventus.
The worrying part is that fans in this Gaming look just like in MECH/Ventus - not the more premium stuff from Nvidia Gaming X

Not sure where you are getting this from as fans look identical to their '' Nvidia '' Gaming X series counterparts except for the dragon logo on the fans ( which is just that a logo ) . Besides im pretty sure MSI will port this new Gaming X aesthetics on Nvidias next gen cards since it looks more premium and clean .

Obviously you haven't seen the reviews compared to other 5700 xt cards.

Yes, I don't read all the reviews. I have a life, despite what writing on this forum may suggest.

I meant that 7nm Navi is hot in general (just like 7nm Zen2 is hot). We'll have to get used to it. 7nm is dense. It'll only get worse.

Pretty much the same cooler, same power consumption. 5700XT is roughly 10*C hotter under load.
Idle temp show this even better (fan off).

edit:
I quickly went through the temp results of 5700XT tested by TPU.
MSI cards are among the coolest (at least for the GPU itself). Both Gaming and Evoke. I don't know what you mean.

The issue with many cards is as usual the mounting pressure / proper contact.
In MSI's case they used some comically small thermal pads on the GDDR6 that doesn't even cover half the package, and worse it was off center.
I call it the McDonald's Filet-O-Fish syndrome.
