Are you sure it is performance that must have been improved?
Not sure your question. As per first post, if indeed correct, the performance would increase with a clock boost and memory speed boost. And it is always good for end user. Unless you are saying its the price that needs to improve. I would also agree. Because I only buy cheaper parts - mid range. And this mid range field is very expensive IMO (Nvidia and AMD).
