While I think that implementation is a bit on the silly and overkill side, a 12V standard does leave a lot of room for implementing smart custom solutions tailored to a use case, aesthetic, etc.Talking about splitters-backplanes, while it is a good bit different Seasonic's SCMD/Connect suddenly makes a lot more sense.
