AORUS, the premium gaming brand of Gigabyte Technology, debuted a tactical monitor that gives gaming enthusiasts twice the details and display quality than Full HD, and allows them to enjoy games and movies in their original size. The AORUS F127Q features a 27" QHD panel (2560x1440 resolution) in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 165 Hz refresh rate. New monitor supports AMD Radeon FreeSync technology which puts an end to choppy gameplay and broken frames to create a fluid and artifact-free performance at any framerate.

The AORUS F127Q is one of the most responsive gaming monitors in the market. By accelerating the twisting speed of the liquid crystals, the response time can be reduced to 1 ms, and let you enjoy a fluent gaming experience without any ghosting effects. This feature is particularly useful with high tempo games! The AORUS F127Q uses an advanced 10 bits (8 bits+FRC) Color IPS display technology which gives you extra wide viewing angles with 178/178 degrees. While in fierce competition, the F127Q's smooth rendering ability eliminates any chance of ghosting effects.

The new monitor features DCI-P3, a common RGB color space for digital movie projection from the American film industry. Compared to sRGB, DCI-P3 covers more red and green, which is more powerful and sharper, allowing users to see more realistic colors. With HDR technology, AORUS F127Q Gaming monitor can provide users with richer color levels.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) displays delivers better contrast and color accuracy, as well as more vibrant colors, compared to Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) displays. As a result, HDR is gaining interest from a wide range of applications, including gaming, movie entertainment, and creation of multimedia content. The aim is to let the human eye see the picture as real as possible.

AORUS F127Q Gaming monitor boasts the most advanced LED systems in the market. Thanks to the RGB Fusion App, you'll be able to create a gaming ambience exclusively to you with its intuitive UI and customizability. LED enthusiasts now have the chance to show off their creativity with the ability to customize multiple zones independently.

The AORUS Aim Stabilizer reduces motion blur and allows gamers to maintain extraordinary clarity in the game for a smoother experience. For example, in FPS games, firing a shot will produce a strong recoil which will shake the screen and make the picture blur. The Aim Stabilizer can counter the motion blur and enhance the gamer's visual clarity, letting them to trace the bullet trajectory and control the aim more easily.

In addition, The AORUS Dashboard shows you critical hardware information in real-time such as CPU voltages, clock speed, temperatures, usage, fans speed and other AORUS exclusive functions, such as GameAssist. No matter what kind of scenario, you will not be blocked by any game. You can even customize the information that you want to display.

The Black Equalizer can control the shadow of the display to enhance the contrast and increase the visibility of the dark scene without overexposed the bright area, so in the game, Black Equalizer will deepen the details of the dark part without affecting other display areas. Let us easily find enemies hiding in the dark.

Other prominent features include:
  • GameAssist - Gives you the ability to create several custom crosshairs and assist you on the battlefield.
  • AORUS OSD Sidekick - Allows you to set the display options with keyboard and mouse. AORUS also provides firmware updates and backups for this monitor, so you can enjoy new features and make your sidekick smarter with protection.
  • Smart close-talk voice capturing technology with dual mics perfectly cancels out the environmental noises/sounds with the least voice distortion, letting your teammate receive your voice clearly.
  • Picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-by-picture (PBP)
  • Ergonomic Design - Offers an extensive range of height, tilt, pivot, stroke, and swivel adjustments.
The MSRP of the F127Q is $549.99. In the USA, it's available on Newegg and Amazon.

I wonder if it's using the same Innolux panel as AD27QD or the new LG panel. While LG is the fastest IPS atm, it has TN level of contrast ratio (700:1) iirc.

I'm just hoping Mini-LED will be affordable by summer 2021. I am not getting another monitor until then.

I would say a bad, low quality PR.

There are 3 models of the same. F127Q and F127Q-P. The latter supports DP1.4 with 10bits + HDR enabled at 165Hz, while this one cannot at the same time. You have to switch something off, due to bandwidth limitation. It has only DP1.2.

Kinda Anad managed to make proper press release few days ago accenting both panels and differences in between them, also added panel brightness and contrast specs, frequency ranges etc in a neat table.

1 can be replaced with I with the name, its very confusing to everybody. No idea what's going on with that.
Things i should note: G-Sync fully supported.
@Ferrum Master I'm totally willing to use 120Hz-144Hz to get better color, doesn't change much for me.

The one thing that bothers me is old DP 1.2 use. How the hell did they allow it.

NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible Certified.

And... how? Many options. Some panels doesn't handle the 165Hz + HDR mode... cherry pick is going on. Seconds a load old scalers is lying around for them... third could be a silent evolution of the same design(AD27QD being the first). Thus it would explain this silly article not mentioning the upgraded model as there is need to load them off.

I doubt it. The first gen mini-LEDs will be exclusively HDR monitors with jacked up prices. And that is AFTER TVs get their share. I don't expect mini-LED to become mainstream until micro-LED becomes mainstream tbh.
