It feels to me like 80+ Bronze PSUs should have been phased out a while ago. That said, 70 amps on the 12v rail sure sounds nice.

IMHO
It only matters for large installations with high power consumption, and mainly because of excessive heat and noise, and electricity bills isn't main decision factor, but ability to use less energy to setup additional units. For a typical desktop/office pc/htpc with consumption under 100W all of them (80+ whatever) equally efficient, except titanium and maybe some platinum units). And if you need 1-2 relatively low power PCs for your home or small office it's more economical to choose bronze over higher priced units because of possible savings on bills. Only two factors for me against bronze units: build quality and false advertising (like saying 750W on the incapable devices).

Really? The extra nickel or three you just couldn't spend evga?

consumers buy more bronze units then gold, platinum, and titanium put together. Corsair has said the CX line is their best selling line (it's also the best selling unit on Amazon). In fact the first two units that pop up on Amazon search for PSU are both 80 plus white. Every web site, including TPU, has a bronze unit in the their $700-900 builds and all the digital boutiques use 80 plus white and bronze units.

I'm not saying people should not get a gold unit instead just saying most PCs (even gaming PCs) don't have one.
