VIVIFY, a leading brand of premium fiber optic cables, is pleased to announce the PC edition VIVIFY ARQUUS W73ø, a fiber optic HDMI RGB gaming cable with Vnode, a new software to control and mix the cable's light-up effects, which also works with Razer Chroma. Available in 9 ft (2.7 m) length, the HDMI 2.0b W73ø received DPL Labs' 4K certification, the highest level of certification for true 4K products.

Whether on console or PC, using a gaming monitor and/or TV, the backward compatibility of HDMI 2.0b and a wide array of compatible devices offers an opportunity for gamers to connect whenever and wherever they want. With true 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) supporting refresh rate of 60Hz, the ARQUUS W73ø provides the performance necessary for gamers, to immerse themselves with vivid image quality and clean fast motion transitions. And thanks to the high-performance and high-quality of the optical fiber, there is minimal signal loss over longer distances.

Vnode - Bring gradient effects to your HDMI cable
The new Vnode application unleashes RGB customization options ranging from single color to dynamic gradient effects, and everything in between. A wide array of lighting effects (up to 8) and the option to choose from a wide spectrum of colors gives the user the possibility to find a perfect fit for their style. This is achieved via the patented design of built-in LEDs located at the source and display ends of the cable, and passing through a proprietary diffuser. In addition, the VIVIFY ARQUUS W73ø works with Razer Chroma to synchronize lighting effects and create the ultimate gaming environment.

"We're thrilled to have VIVIFY join the Razer Chroma Connect program. The vibrant RGB lighting on the ARQUUS W73ø can now sync with all your Razer Chroma enabled devices and even dynamically react with games for a truly immersive gaming experience." - Kushal Tandon, Director of Software Marketing and Business development.

DPL 4K certification for guaranteed high-quality
VIVIFY is dedicated and proud to provide the highest quality and most reliable product possible. To receive the DPL Labs 4K certification, the ARQUUS W73ø was thoroughly tested and passed with flying colors, bringing a guaranteed true 4K compatibility with a bandwidth of up to 18 Gbps, and enabling Deep Color through multiple features set permutations. This certificate ensures full compatibility for 4K/UltraHD products that may include features such as 4K@60Hz, BT.2020 and HDR.

The ARQUUS W73ø is currently available at an MSRP of $99.99 USD for a limited time. For more information and to purchase, visit this page.

In before people start slagging these guys off.
Yes, this is a bit of a pointless product, but these cables and hand made in Taiwan is fairly small quantities.
For 4k, fibre based cables don't make a whole lot of sense, but with HDMI 2.1 and 8k, this is going to be the route to go down, as fibre based cables will allow for much longer runs, whereas copper based cables will be limited to 1-2m once we hit those kind of bandwidths.
Unfortunately, that will require new signal converters, so these cables are not going to work with 8k...
That said, at least Vivify should have the know-how and experience to make 8k cables once we get there.

It's not silicon, it's some other material, although they wouldn't tell me exactly what it was when I visited them. It's imported from Japan and they have a special process to make the light even in the cables, which is apparently quite tricky.
But I agree, I don't see the value of that feature, but some people are surely going to like it.

I can genuinely say I'm lost for words here.

It does look nice, that's the thing... but its soooooo pointless. Internal struggle error

It's smexy IMO. If cash was no factor, I'd splash for one of those, looks really awesome. What can I say, I am sucker for these things from time to time.
