Totally agree. Intel engineers probably feel the same way, lol But even if not buying CML, we can still watch the super-beefed VRM and other cool trends as they appear on the mobos.
I'm watching Asus ROG Strix Z490-A Gaming, it sounds-like a brand new 2-dimm board from Asus maybe around the $349 price point, then that would allow the Apex XII (other ROG 2-dimm board) the ability to rise to the top of the product stack. (wishful thinking on my part) lol
So yea watching ROG Apex 12 and EVGA Z490 Dark - just to see what EVGA comes up with.
I'm not buying this platform either - probably be good 'til Alder Lake next year.
Buuut, I do have a Seasonic TX-700 fanless titanium shipping from Newegg tomorrow, oh yea. Been wanting the PSU since last Computex June 2019. "Been a long time awaitin' " breaks into a blues song.
