HyperX Chosen as Memory Provider for New HP OMEN Desktop PCs

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced it is the high-performance base memory provider for HP's new OMEN Desktops and upgrades. HyperX FURY DDR4 RGB or FURY DDR4 memory will be integrated into the OMEN 25L and OMEN 30L Desktops and are fully upgradable.

"HyperX is excited to provide high performance gaming grade memory for the new OMEN Desktops," said Larry Gonzales, sales and marketing VP, HyperX. "Gaming enthusiasts expect the best, and OMEN exemplifies a collaborative attitude to provide quality and reliable memory to satisfy gamers' performance needs."



The OMEN Desktops will come with HyperX FURY DDR4 RGB 3200Mhz memory up to 32 GB. HyperX FURY DDR4 RGB is known for high quality performance, reliability and style, with RGB lighting that runs the length of the module for smooth and stunning effects. The memory features Plug N Play automatic overclocking and is AMD Ready for Ryzen.

Love the cable management in that thing. This is what I love about pre-builts from the big OEMs. Everything is purpose-built.

Yeah, it's great, like the zero airflow, the 120mm AIO, what can I say, top performance, lol.
Unless these are in fact designed for office work, but with a twist of RGB, they are awful in my opinion.

Fortunately this is about the Ram, not the PC.
I wouldn't buy that Ram, not new.

There's a fan in the bottom front, the airflow seems to be the same as their Z workstation, Review will tell the truth, but if some studios manage to make big movies with their Z workstation, they might handle gaming just fine. But yes, it's probalbly not going to break any records in cooling temps. And don't expect to do any overclock with these.

It does looks great visually, it seems like oem's finally seems to care about their high-end product...but diy brands still do it better. I'm seeing lots of wasted space for the 30L, and the 25L is basically an Omen obelisk with a new front.

The last time that I've seen a prebuilt that really tried to do something on look and performance must have been Dell with their XPS 700. When I was a teenager that model made me drool. I know that nowadays the market is all about notebooks, but it's still a shame that those big companies don't even try to make a state of the art case/computer at a reachable price. Where's the passion ? The pride ? Even alienware who's a luxury brand never managed to get on the level of the best from corsair, lian-li, cooler master...

You realize you are looking at a render, right?
IRL you will find stuff bent, missed in assembly or just plain missing. Hopefully not, but this 'tidy' you see here is not what you pull out of the box that is for sure. And then comes time itself or that moment you want to swap components...

I mean yes, if a PC"s life is completely static and you clean it every month, this will approach the look of the render, possibly.

And then comes actually using the rig, and figuring out 120mm AIO is woefully inadequate for anything but a quad at stock. So you add fans or replace the AIO... bye cable management. And the noise. THE NOISE!

Fortunately this is about the Ram, not the PC.
I wouldn't buy that Ram, not new.

Though one might wonder why a choice of RAM supplier with some random OEM dustbin is newsworthy. This reeks of advertising - not the RAM, but the OMEN line.
