I'm sure there's something to say about the hardware this packs, but at over 3 liters, it's bigger than some NUCs (e.g. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/boards-kits/nuc/mini-pcs.html)
And that volume is probably still not enough for proper cooling.

How does comparing volumes of a mobile PC, which includes the screen, keyboard and battery, to a NUC make any sense?
I bet cooling will be "proper" considering the 3950X is at ECO mode (65W), as long as you keep performance expectations realistic.

This is a DTR, so I don't expect it to be small. And because it packs a powerful processor and GPU, it is expected to be big. The fact is that you will not be able to find a laptop that can cool well. Most and I really mean like 95% or more won't be able to keep both CPU and GPU running at a high speed in sustained load. CPU generally suffers the most because taking an Intel processor as example, from the low power U series to the high power H series, most cooling is only sufficient to keep them running around 3Ghz (+/- 10%), under sustained load. The lower the power requirement on the processor, PC makers will also cut down the chassis size and cooling accordingly. The good thing is that this runs on "Eco Mode", which reduces the ability for it to hit clockspeeds that you see on desktops, but still giving the user a 16 core processor in a laptop. If you are encoding video or doing CPU intensive work that will run faster with more cores, this could be a viable option as compared to a desktop considering you get a screen, mouse and keyboard all in.

Eurocom isn't the maker of this chassis. Clevo is the ODM. Eurocom buys this chassis like every other reseller, from Clevo.

Exactly, I have an unbranded Clevo NH58AF1 and it is identical to this Eurocom, the XMG, etc...

edit: To answer one of the other comments, the 3950x or 3900x are completely viable in this beast. You just have to undervolt and set a fixed all-core clock. Keeps performance high/consistent with thermals and noise in check.
