Intel Core i9-10900K Pushed to 7.707 GHz Under Liquid Helium Cooling

An Intel Core i9-10900K processor was overclocked to 7707 MHz with all cores enabled, by professional overclocker Elmor, who participated in a collaborative overclocking session by ASUS. The frequency was achieved at 101.42 MHz BClk, and 76x multiplier. Supporting the overclock was a liquid helium evaporator. An ASUS ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard was used for the feat, along with a single stick of DDR4-4400 memory. Also, Windows XP was used, to support the ASUS Turbo V Core tool. Most likely because he can't be in Taiwan with them at the moment.

Naw, I don't keep up with these guys. Only watch when new CPUs launch and Der8auer's delidding and overclocking video guides are extremely helpful.

Neither do I, but Taipei is only so big, so I keep bumping in to them from time to time.

Looks like Asus put together their own take on it all as well.

well they actually need Liquid Helium to achieve 300mhz less than a FX-8300 under LN2 and only +500mhz compared to the same CPU under LN2 .... that's a freaking record, indeed ... even if it's an all core OC it's still a pointless OC ... liquid Helium has more crucial use than that farce

and still 1ghz shy of the world record actually ( a FX-8370 under LN2 ).... ok ok .... not all core ... i get it ...

oops ... it was all cores ...

should rename the lineup into "Dry Lake"
