Aqua Computer Releases Cuplex Kryos NEXT sTRX4 FC Water Blocks

Aqua Computer, the German specialist for water cooled systems, introduces a new CPU water block for the AMD socket sTRX4: the cuplex kryos NEXT sTRX4 FC. The new cooler is manufactured directly at Aqua Computer in Germany. A solid nickel-plated copper base offers an extremely large microstructure with a surface area of 51x45 mm - the largest ever manufactured for a CPU cooler at Aqua Computer. This microstructure is CNC machined in an extensive CNC production process to a structure size of less than 200 µm.

The cooler is offered by Aqua Computer in three versions, whereby the cooling performance is identical and only the housing of the cooler is different. The most economical variant is based on a housing made of black acetal. Additionally, Aqua Computer offers a model with integrated digital LED lighting. For this cooler, the housing is made of Plexiglas and is framed by a black anodized aluminium frame.



The third version integrates a VISION OLED display and RGBpx lighting. Both are controlled via USB with the well-known aquasuite software. The cooler also has an integrated temperature sensor. Unfortunately, this model is not yet available at the launch and will become available in July.

Prices start at 79.90 Euro for the Acetal version; the model with a Plexiglas and the aluminium frame is offered for 109.90 Euro. Both variants are available as of now.

The VISION and RGBpx variant that will appear later will cost 139.90 Euro.

Also, very good value for the acetal and non-vision plexi versions.

90 bucks is not bad for the plain acetal. I wonder what the pressure drop is?

0.2mm or 200um for the fancy folks is nothing special. Optimus, Heatkiller and Corsair have the same finstack density, even Thermaltake does.

I don't have experience with there waterblocks, but I do have a fan controller (AQUA COMPUTER AQUAERO 6 XT) and a M.2 to pcie adapter (kryoM.2 with a passive heatsink). While it is expensive compared to other products of the same category, besides price i only have good things to say about the two products I have from Aqua Computer. I works well and keep what it promises.

What I like is certainly AquaComputer thought this a bit more than HeatKiller. It seems that RGB is connected by external cable. Cable which you can plug/unplug at any time. Unlike HeatKiller where you have to dismantle brand new block, remove cable, and then put it back. Daft. Also lack of jetplate is great. (at least it seems that way) Under normal operation such blocks are impossible to gunk, jetplates are such pain for no gain (or statistically irrelevant) in cooling performance.

Of course Removing RGB completely Award, Phanteks 399a has in the bag. Takes about 3 seconds to do it. And that's why I have 3 of those.

I honestly don't know if you people are blind as bats or just oblivious to the obvious. Of course there is a central jet plate, just look at the first photo!

Those theories about jet plates causing blockage or clogging is laughable at best, when jet plate's slit width is an order of magnitude larger than micro channel width.

If this lack of knowledge is fueling your elitist view on everyone who likes what seems to be the norm these days then you need to go off your high horse before you hurt yourself.

Those theories about jet plates causing blockage or clogging is laughable at best, when jet plate's slit width is an order of magnitude larger than micro channel width.

If this lack of knowledge is fueling your elitist view on everyone who likes what seems to be the norm these days then you need to go off your high horse before you hurt yourself.

I works well and keep what it promises.

I only have experience with their fluid (DP Ultra UV Blue), and man... After 2 years of gaming, it was still exactly like day one. Zero breakdown and zero crap between microchannels in both blocks. There’s only a slight blue tint on my tubes (ClearFlex 60), but since I’ll only use that blue coolant, it isn’t a problem. Best coolant EVAH IMHO, I’ll never use anything else in both my and my customers’ loops.
For example, I have a friend with EK EKoolant Evo Blood Red in his loop, and after 8 months-a year it turned nearly black. No performance issues, but it looks bad.

I can't speak for there waterblocks, but the adaptor and fan controller I have have worked flawless for years. No problems and the software for the fan controller is also really good when you first have come to know it.

I have nothing bad to say about aqua computer so far.
