Wasn't the whole Battle Royale copied from a Japanese movie which was based on a Japanese novel.
I'll be honest I'm not into this Battle Royale craze, but this game looks awful from every angle, it's a waste UE4, they could've just continued to have it as mod for ARMA. M'y point is with this awful quality it should be free till it's updated to at least the PS4 era.

I thought BR was based on the Hunger Games series. And I don't know. I think it looks fine and runs pretty well now. Better tick rate servers too than most other BRs. People tend to run it on low anyways for pure performance, and its easier to see people.

You can't really make money off a mod you goober.

The biggest problem is the HACKING!!! PUBG has never cared to ban hackers, they review your reports one-by-one and seldom ban hackers. I've seen speed hacks, aim bots, no recoil, you name it. It's honestly ruined the game when you can't win because a hacker will sneak around and ambush you. When hackers are gone for good i'll play PUBG all day long and change my review. As it is, the game is dead to me right now.

I never understood this hyperbole, they ban cheaters all the time and pay a lot of money to combat cheating.

No game developer has figured out how to make hit multiplayer PVP PC games completely cheat free yet, because it's on the impossible side of ridiculously hard. As long as Windows provides no way for a game to isolate it's processes from memory snooping/manipulation from other processes it will forever be a game of cat and mouse and cheaters will always run rampant to one extent or another. And then if Windows does provide this, it would cause privacy uproars depending on how they implement it, certainly every cheat developer would scream bloody murder as angrily and elegantly as they could on every forum from Minecraft to PUBG to hello kitty forums.

It seems that governments have found the way using artificial intelligence for spying of their own people.
Defensless game servers? Lets add alive moderators to its one of them, this will lower down the unemployment rate.
Who will pay those people ? Gaming industry among with AMD, INTEL, NVIDIA, because if gamers move away from gaming.. their profitability will go further down.

I played a fair number of matches this weekend and didn't come across any cheating... WAY more cheaters in the bigger main stream games, PUBG I feel has done a great job lately at blocking the cheaters out and making a much leveler playing field.

oh and some shots are random/luck, not every wild bullet is considered cheating, maybe the person just got the perfect shot off. no reason to rage quit and throw a fit on TPU about it. Kinda defines the terms "Spray and prey" their preying worked that go around.

I feel like most people that complain about hackers, suck and can't take it that they got beat so they just scream "hacker". not saying this is the case here for you but most likely is. If a "hacker" beat you and you rage quit and refuse to play the game, the hacker won on so many other levels. just report him and move on.
