Shouldn't there be a note/disclaimer somewhere about the advertised transfer speeds only being attainable when connected to other AX/Wi-Fi 6- enabled devices ????

As in "only as fast as the slowest device in the chain"

That's implied, no need to make a fuss about it. That way they can charge bigger price to unsuspecting customers (and laymen obviously).

Mbps, and I'm pretty sure over WiFi, assuming you have a WiFi 6 adapter such as AX200/AX201.

The image does have "MB/s" next to 2200, so it is not megabits, but megabytes. That being said, WiFi 6 isn't even near getting that speed, so it's false advertising. The drive itself might be capable of it, but the fact that it's limited to WiFi 6 speeds means the product itself isn't capable of it.

Looks like there's a dock with an Ethernet port if you need that, though the 2,200MB/s speed they quote (and they do keep quoting is as MB/s) can only be over USB.

Their Indigogo page shows it should have a USB-C port on it - the press pictures don't do a good job showing that off.

On WiFi 6 it may be limited (to ~307 MBps) but through USB it should be 2200 MBps.
