ZOTAC today introduced the White Edition variant of its compact GeForce RTX 2060 Super OC graphics card (model: ZT-T20610K-10M). The whitewash sees the card's metal 3D back-plate, cooler shroud, and fan impellers don white. while the underlying PCB sticks to black. The other exclusive feature with this card is its GPU Boost frequency of 1680 MHz, compared to 1650 MHz of the original (ZT-T20610E-10M). The board design is otherwise identical. Based on the 12 nm "TU106" silicon, the RTX 2060 Super features 2,176 CUDA cores, and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit wide memory bus. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability.

Why? What for? Unless they price it really competitively.

Most likely for people who want a white themed card. Don't see any other reason.

If you made the PCB white you could ditch the backplate and have better thermals.

*facepalm*

Too late Zotac together with Asus doing this at the end of the 2000 series life right before Ampere hits the ground.

Galax/KFA2 can also be slow with lower end models in white sadly but they do the white PCB and others don't I am not sure if that's exclusive trademark for Galax/KFA2 doe.

To clear stock. Make it white because it is still quite rare and there are people that would like to have an all white rig/ theme. If this was really a special white edition, then why is the PCB still black?

^^THIS^^

This has been, and continues to be, false advertising IMHO, but at least this one seems to have just a little more white on it than the other 263.45 so-called "WHITE" edition cards out there already
