XIGMATEK debuted the Spectrum line of entry-level PSUs featuring RGB embellishments. The series debuts with a 700 W model, with more expected in the 500-800 W range soon. These PSUs feature fixed, flat, ribbon-type cabling, and are characterized by a 120 mm fan that features an ARGB diffuser along the bore of the frame. These PSUs come with 80 Plus (default) rating, with 81% efficiency at 20% load, 82% at 50% load, and 81% at 100% load.

Under the hood, the Spectrum features a single +12 V rail design, PFC, and most common electrical protections, against over/under-voltage, overload, overheat, and short-circuit. The 700 W model features an interesting mix of connectors that include two 4+4 pin EPS, four 6+2 pin PCIe power, five SATA power, two Molex, and a Berg. The Spectrum series will only be released in markets with 220-240 VAC domestic power. The company didn't reveal pricing or warranty information.

It doesn't have a 80PLUS certification, that's a fake one, as this PSU is 230V only. 80PLUS standard is measured at 115V, which this PSU can't handle.

No, you can have 80+ certs and be 230V only.

No you can't, that's a different certification, this is a fake one.
There is 80PLUS 230V EU, but that requires a efficiency of 82%, at 20%, 85% at 50% and 82% at 100% load. This clearly isn't that because that batch has 230V EU added. It's like I said a fake one.

Oh you mean that. Could be a typo. They don't exist at the 80+ website yet anyway, so we don't know.

230V only, likely group regulated.

Awesome sauce /s It's like they saw recent Thermaltake RGB junk and decided to one-up, or rather one-down it
