This App is using the same mechanisms that PBO does to adjust things on the fly.

It's literally a soft mod for PBO. It changes the clock/volt/frequency tables of PB/PBO.
PB2 and PBO are two different things.
PBO doesnt change voltage o frequencies. It just modifies CPU limits (EDC, TDC and PPT).

PBO does not come free of PB2 voltage bins. If you have room, 'ppt', it will maximise your 'edc' current output by way of 'Pb' states. Your chip might be golden, it is not what the monitoring software sees, though. I'd agree if it clocked more on the same voltage, but the way you tone it down is through a lower llc setting imo.

I searched and searched in my MSI X570 motherboard BIOS, but i can't find anything called LLC or Load Line Calibration. Maybe it is called something else on MSI BIOS? I did find some other interesting stuff while digging around. Like auto reduction of memory latency (which actually works according to AIDA64), and some settings that give better score in certain benching programs. Like cinebench, aida and others. It actually says in BIOS in which programs, and then you pick one. But...LLC is nowhere to be found.

Edit. I searched on MSI site and they seem to have it only under intel MBO's.
Edit 2. I did find it. Set it to 3 as recommended. Idk is this AMD thing with them being notorious for their garbage drivers, but now my CPU is superovervoltaged and clock reduced. I was able to set 4.2GHHz and 1.1V on core manually. Super stable. Now this program recommends 3950MHz and 1.275V. And auto OC in Ryzen Master Recommends 1.475V!!! for 4.3GHz. Somehow, for whatever black magic reason, even after setting LLC back to auto, that magical 4.2GHz with 1.1V is impossible.

No offense, but you dont seem like you know much, if anything, about computers. I would advise you to just set everything to default and not worry about stuff like this until you've done a little research. This isnt really something that someone like you needs to worry about.

Yuuuup. That's why i have CompTIA A+. Because i don't know anything. Nobody knows EVERYTHING. Please don't presume you know anything about me, or anyone else. Anyways, i got to 4.1Ghz with 1.28Vcore for my R5 3600 which clocktuner says is a Bronze sample. Above that it need too much voltage than i find comfortable for 24/7 usage. Also set the RAM to 3800Mhz, but had to manually set fclk/uckl to 1:1 because above 3733MHz RAM, BIOS doesn't keep them at 1:1 ratio any more. Tried above that, but fclck simply isnt stable above 1900MHz.
Did Deus Ex mankind Divided game benchmark with default RAM at 2400MHz and got avg 125fps. With RAM OC i got 138fps avg. So nice boost on ZEN 2 from RAM OC-ing.

I gave up on it when it increased PPT for a higher score while i had PBO disabled in MB bios.

The developer of this app, however well intended might be, should be beatten to a effin pulp:
- why the hell would you implement a notification saying "Profiles are not used :)"? What is it accomplyshing other than informing the obvious? Tell me effing WHY they are not used and what to do about them!!!
- I did run thorugh the oc process and ended up with two profiles. However, I don't seem to be able to apply them as the buttons are greyed out and on hover it displays a "denied" tool tip. Tell me effing why is that? How am I supposed to fix it? What is wrong, stop effing pointing me to 15 pages tutorials. If profiles are disabled, surely you as software know why so tell meeeeeeee!

Do I need to pay to unlock? The eefing tell me that! Am I supposed to guess what to do next?!!?!?!!

you have to Update Profile, Apply Profile, Exit CTR (after selecting the option to Run CTR when OS is loaded).
Reboot the system and it should works.

It worked for me until Beta3. Then it just crashed on every settings.

At no point during the process are the "apply profile" buttons available. So I can't do the steps. And I can't understand why I can't do it, which the app seems to know but doesn't want to inform me about.

Hey. Is there any way to get this program to work with ZEn 3? I downloaded the latest beta, latest Ryzen master and flashed to latest BIOS. But CTR still says Ryzen master is not installed or outdated.
