Arctic today expanded its Liquid Freezer II line of all-in-one, closed-loop, liquid CPU coolers, with its largest variant—Liquid Freezer II 420. This cooler uses a 38 mm-thick 420 mm x 140 mm radiator, which is ventilated by a trio of 140 mm fans, with the coolant pressure of the pump-block adjusted to match the large radiator. The pump-block features a tiny 40 mm fan that spins between 1,000-3,000 RPM, to maintain airflow near the CPU VRM area. The pump's impeller does 800 to 2,000 RPM. Among the CPU socket types supported are LGA1200, AM4, LGA115x, and LGA2066 (no sTR4/sTRX4 support). Arctic includes three Arctic P14 PWM fans, which feature fluid-dynamic bearings, spin between 200 to 1,700 RPM, pushing 72.8 CFM of air, each. Available now, the Liquid Freezer II 420 is priced at 120€ (including VAT).

I wonder what's the length of the tubes, they seem awfully short in the picture

Having too many options isn't bad and I doubt this will be used by people targeting budget builds.

I am literally eying a 420 custom loop because the evolv X has enough place for this.

Meh, there are quite a few cases that can fit a 3x140mm radiator.

Their P14 fans are better than NFA14's (I own P14, NFA14 and ML14's, listed them in order of better to worse perf on my 280 AIO)

the NZXT Aer-P fan is the best fan for radiators, that little notch it has is great at helping force air through radiators. its similar to airplane designs

There's no point in this, this unit needs to be improved in other ways, not rad size as the 360 rad is already thick. I used the 360 for a while and the worse bits were with the VRM fan not being really effective and the block being needed to be mounted in one way, and the rad is aluminum. The tubing length is fine but it could be an issue due to the fact that you have to mount the block in one way only for the life and performance of the unit. It's already a pretty good AIO with solid, affordable fans. However, making a bigger than 360 rad is not the solution to make it better.

They're using sones for the noise of those fans, but they should be quiet given that the 120s on my 360 were barely audible. It should be solid, but I'm not digging the fact that they're not actually working on the parts of the AIO that need improvement. Such as, the VRM fan being directed to the spot that doesn't have the hot VRM on some boards.

I cannot believe there isn't support for sTR4/TR4/Threadripper on this.... When I saw 420mm, I immediately thought it'd be perfect for threadripper! Now, is that Radiator 38mm thick alone? Or WITH the fans?

Looking at my Liquid Freezer 120 which has a 38mm radiator as well, i'm guessing that's the rad alone :D

From what I heard by famous review sites, this cooler is probably the best in the market in terms of AIO by a comfortable margin, what flaws are there? Price even makes it better.

I already listed them, going from 38mm 360 to 420 isn't going to make a ton of difference for most people. If you're going Threadripper and dumping a crapton of heat with a heavy overclock, this WILL NOT satisfy you. I have used it on a 7900X and while it did OK, the noise ratio of the fans are simply targeted at silence with overhead, such as usage on an 8 core Ryzen.

You could improve the pump or the rad, for instance. Simply enlarging the rad is not much of a different effort than what Alphacool does. Aka not of actual use.
