Thermaltake, the leading PC DIY premium brand for Cooling, Gaming Gear, and Enthusiast Memory solutions, is here to share the TOUGHFAN 14 High Static Pressure Radiator Fan is now ready for purchase in both single pack and 2-fan pack. For those who had been eyeing the TOUGHFAN 12 but wanted a 140 mm fan, here's your chance to get the taste of that TOUGHFAN series vibe. These high-quality, great performance fans are PWM controlled and designed to perform at a maximum operating speed of up to 2000 RPM and are optimized for high static pressure while maintaining minimal noise levels. The liquid crystal polymer (LCP) fan blades are extremely tensile in strength; its low thermal expansion coefficient can reduce the fan's vibration when running at full speed. Don't miss out on Thermaltake's latest TOUGHFAN series member, the TOUGHFAN 14 High Static Pressure Radiator Fan.

Features of the TOUGHFAN 14 High Static Pressure Radiator Fan:
PWM Controlled Fans
PWM-controlled fans allow the temperature sensor on the motherboard to send signals to the fans, allowing them to ramp up when needed or slow down when necessary.

High Air Pressure and High Air Flow
TOUGHFAN 14 is designed with a static pressure of 3.54 mm-H2O and with an airflow of 119.1 CFM.

Optimized Gen.2 Hydraulic bearing
TOUGHFAN is equipped with an optimized second-generation hydraulic bearing. The hydraulic bearing's unique structural design stores the lubricant in tiny grooves of those easily abraded areas, which not only decreases friction significantly but achieves a longer lifespan.

Anti-Vibration Mounting System
The In-mold injection anti-vibration rubber pads dampen the vibration of the fan allowing the fan to spin at higher levels without compromising noise levels. The fan is designed with 80% coverage for all corners, maintaining low noise levels when in operation.

Availability, Warranty, and Pricing
The TOUGHFAN 14 High Static Pressure Fan is available for purchase via the Thermaltake worldwide network of authorized retailers and distributors. Fans are backed by a two-year warranty and supported by the Thermaltake worldwide customer service and technical support network. For up-to-date pricing of The TOUGHFAN 14, please refer to the Thermaltake website or contact your local Thermaltake sales or PR representative.

When people asked for Noctua to have black versions of their fans, I didn't imagine they would come with Thermaltake stickers.

Looka like a fan,..
Sounda like a fan...
Smell like a fan...

Well guess what: it probably IS a fan, hahaha....

Although I don't disagree with your sentiment, the copy/paste thing is and has been happening for many years and by many, many companies in the pc world as well as practically every other consumer-goods industry....

Just try looking at cars, household appliances, personal care devices, etc etc.... it's becoming harder & harder to tell one from the other unless you compare items from the same market segments and put them side by side and look REALLY hard for any differences....

Practically every mfgr on the planet wants to be able to say "me too" so they go with what works for other companies & do what everyone else does....copy & paste.....

And yes, there are a few mfgr's that go their own way, hoping to make a splash & be successful with something unique and/or different, but then ... you guessed it...those designs get copied & pasted by other mfgr's....

Will it ever end ? doubtful....

I'd almost forgotten about Thermaltake's Engine 27 CPU cooler until it appeared in that last image of this press release.

Noctua lost and A12x25 is now overpriced. Taiwan made it perform the same at the fraction of the price without the fugly colors either.

I think that there are three sides to the Noctua argument here in reply to your very thoughtful message.

The first is that Noctua innovated, these seem to simply copy; and if you look closely, there is a lot of headroom Thermaltake left on these that Noctua did not as they went a thousand extra miles to ensure the least amount of wasted space between the fan blades and the outer rim.

The second is the life expectancy of Noctua products overall, particularly their A12x25 fans, which are rated for an MTBF value of >150k hours, that is over 3 times Thermaltake fans are rated! And I'm writing this on my desktop, cooled with 8 year old NF-F12 fans. No other brand's fans go this long; there is a reason why there exist MTBF ratings.

The third is the price and misc.,; as, for but $10 more you get 3 times the life expectancy, far higher efficiency, and an original design lit under any coloured light (other than white if you deslike the beige) nowadays look great! But this last remark is of course personal, each is own.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Is the exposed bearing on the fan hub a manufacturing necessity on these LCP bladed fans or are thermaltake just blatantly stealing Noctua's design?

They stole Alpenfohn's original WingBoost frame design too, but hid the evidence behind some silicon corner grommets stolen from Noctua again.

Thermaltake are classic PRC state manufacturer; Copy copy copy copy.

seems too many blades for a pressure optimized fan, rather have max, disregarding flow a bit,
as all "pressure" fans i know have around 5 (big) blades, and flow fans usually 9-12 slim ones.

@Yttersta
might wanna look at Arctic.
10y warranty, close to noctua fans i was interested in (ultra silent), all their fans allow rpm change thru board (pwm/dc) without an adapter/switch on/with the fan,
and most fans (120-14mm) are 10-20$.
and in 20y of using arctic fans/coolers in +20 builds, 2 new ones were "broken" on arrival (bearing noise), and got replacement from arctic within a week.
