In Europe cheapest 3070 is around 860$, i wonder how much this 3060 ti would end up.
Some tech youtubers say the masses will have access to these newer cards much much later, months into 2021.

"in Europe" is a large place. I snagged a 3070 for 710 bucks in Sweden just a few days ago. Which is pretty much as close to MSRP price as you can get with the import costs over here.

Probably because it's bs. Nobody has that data and mining stopped being feasible on GPUs years ago.

funny how many are buying products based on its name/model number, or are stating what a company has to do/produce/sell, for a certain price,

how about comparing how much i have to spend to do 1080p gaming (avg, not the extremes from either end), today/2y/5/7/10y ago??
(and price gouging will happen on anything being sold and there are ppl willing to spend more, that's how it works in a capitalistic market,
so accept the facts. doesnt mean i like it, nor will i be blind enough to buy above a certain price.)

how many of you think 2080ti/3090 are overpriced?
how many of you would buy one?
now lets assume you make +1.000.000$/E/... per year. still not buying the card? right...

buy the performance you need, at a budget your wallet allows, and stop souring it for ppl that are willing to get it.
its not like any company forced you to bend over without offering lube..

The problem is some of us can't bc lower end has not seen upgrades in years and pretty much has been abandoned altogether. It's one thing that upper segments creep up over time, it's another that lower part of spectrum is basically nonexistent anymore.

I mean I bought RX 560 brand new for equivalent of about $100... over 3 years ago. Today - even more expensive than that and no upgrade option in same price range to be seen. Is that supposed to be progress?

At this point it's only viable to keep fingers crossed it keeps running for as long as possible and when inevitable happens, delve into second-hand market...

check local store like microcenter and amazon warehouse for open box.
i havent bought a sealed gpu in past 5y, incl builds for others.
only had one showing artifacts (vram) but thats why there are return options..
