As a world-leading motherboard brand, MSI contributes to providing gamers and creators extremely pleasant experience when users choose MSI motherboards. For the sake of fulfillment of goals, MSI keeps updating the latest version BIOS for users to download and to increase performance. At the present, MSI prepares to release BIOS update for all Intel 400-series motherboards, including Z490, B460 and H410 chipsets. According to planning schedule, the first batch is expected to Z490 motherboards. All BIOS update for Z490 will be available by this week. As for B460 and H410 motherboards, the BIOS update will be completely released in the next two weeks. Please follow the product pages for the updated BIOS.

Update 10:14 UTC: One of the screenshots provided by MSI in its press release puts out some juicy info about a 11th Gen Core "Rocket Lake" processor ES. Apparently this chip has a multiplier range between 8.0 to 50.0, a nominal clock speed of 3.40 GHz, and 4.30 GHz boost. The CPU-Z screenshot also confirms AVX-512F ISA support. In all likelihood (given that this chip has Rocket Lake's maximum core-count of 8-core/16-thread), this ES could very well be the Core i9-11900.

BIOS Update for Re-Size BAR Can Enhance System Memory
The key function of BIOS update is to support Re-Size BAR. Re-Size BAR is a platform approach for more performance. It can encourage the system to access the VRAM on the graphics cards and take use of full capacity. After testing, the function operates well. The following image shows MEG Z490 GODLIKE with Re-Size BAR support.

AMD AGESA COMBO PI V2 1.1.0.0 BIOS Assists the Performance Increasing As Well
For AMD platforms, MSI has updated AGESA 1.1.0.0 BIOS for AMD 400-series motherboards. With the BIOS update, the system memory of AMD 400-series motherboards can reach the high performance, and users will definitely have incredible experience. For the relevant BIOS update, please check the product pages and download the latest BIOS.

Well, it's not like they've showed a whole lot of stuff. Nice TDP for an 8 core chip though.

Fantastic news. AMD has cultivated this image of being consumer friendly in its aggressive social media campaigns, whereas they're beginning to make overtures towards proprietary traps. They need to start competing on an equal field.

Ermm are you saying AMD should have made/coded this function for Intel as well?
Should Nvidia help AMD with RTX as well?
Seriously what is wrong with you?

The only thing AMD did wrong her is limit this tech to their latest gen products and not those that came before….and now it seems that those before simply arnt able to do this.

Considering it's an open PCIe feature? Sure. There's no reason to walled garden it with the image they pretend to have.

The reality is AMD and NVIDIA are much the same. I'm not surprised, but some will go to great lengths to deny this.

and now it seems that those before simply arnt able to do this.

I really, really doubt this.

Seriously? That company is all over the place lately.
