Did you test it? I think if they added compatibility to 5xxx series, they would put that on the change notes too.
No, prices are still ridiculous, so I'll wait until they drop to normal beforce giving them my money.
Technically they should be compatible, but some things like the curve optimizer will be missing for sure. But I wouldn't want to be a beta tester anyway, especially now that they are not mentioned as compatible on the official list yet and new BIOSes are announced for the near future, even if the prices were normal already.
It's exactly the same story as withmy B450 Tomahawk as with your B450-Gaming-Plus :)

It does not.

I enabled it in the BIOS on MSI X570 Pro and it booted fine so I assume it works. As far as the benefits go I can't say that I have seen an improvement in my Firestrike scores overall.

I have installed the beta BIOS for B450 Tomahawk and I am using it with Ryzen 5 5600X. It is working without problems. Maybe they haven't changed the CPU support list because it is still in beta but it works.

1.1.0.0 added 5xxx support across the board.

Thanks for confirming it, now I need to wait the 5600x be in stock again, time to replace my 3600, will only replace it because maximum clock stable 24/7 is 4.1ghz, that 5600x will easily keep 4.6ghz 24/7, 10% clock speed + 20% single thread better performance.

It's worth the performance difference but as long as the price remains at 360€ (at least here in Greece), it cancels the whole point imo.

Where I live is $330, impossible to get one now due to holidays, in 2 weeks will be pretty easy, before these holidays it was pretty easy to buy it where I live, only new gpus got the increase in price, new cpus normal price right here.
