~2% advantage in gaming performance in exchange for fewer cores, less multi-thread performance and you know damn well that Intel is gonna be Intel and price it similarly... let's not even talk about power consumption and perf/watt, there is a reason why they've been avoiding that issue for a couple of generations now. Meh.

+ More Power Consumption (it still 14nm ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++)
+ More Expensive Platafform (Z590 or Z490, compared to B550 or x570)

4% average over a couple of games... Meh... not worth the extra power usage, and heat.

That's avg fps, 1% or 0.1% lows or max fps in there? Either way a total dunce considering the top bin is limited to just 8c/16t now!

Benchmark Scores Who need bench when everything already fast?
They didn't pitted against 5950X, or yet? They also did'n t disclose any compabilty with Z490, or yet? :D
We'll be seeing bloodbath in productivity if Intel boasted much of these 5% faster gaming experience :D

Ι would agree (being after all the proud owner of a Ryzen 3600, which was amazingly valued when I bought it in February) were it not for the pesky fact that the 3600X nowadays goes for 250 euros while the better performing 10600KF goes for 220...). And good luck finding a low end AMD cpu that can game as well as an 85 euro 10100F.

Some of us aren't all that much into CPU religiosity. Whatever works best at the best value for money. AMD rocked the world and blew intel out of the water up until the Ryzen 5xxx and the newest shortages. Intel is now better value for money for quite a few use cases, amazingly.

They didn't put it against the 5950x cause of the price range...
AMD maybe going to drop the price of he 5900X to match the new 11900k... but likely not...
competition will not be fair this next gen... prices maybe rising not falling.
