Call Of Duty 4 Cover Art Revealed

Normally, the release of a game's cover art is not front page worthy. However, there's something special about this cover art: Infinity Ward did not design it. Infinity Ward instead left the task of designing (and voting on) a Call of Duty 4 cover to the gaming community. And so, the product of this collaboration is shown below. All versions of the game (PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PC, etc) have the same cover art. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is currently on track for a November 5th release.

Is it just me or does that look awful close to the cover art for BF2142?

Screw modern combat games...unless they can make them as balenced as starcraft, i aint playing them.

I dont know how youre BF2142 cover art looks like, but the official european cover art is nothing like the cod4 art.

I like the cover art from cod4, and im buying this game for sure! Propably the 360 version, or pc version. Or maybe both?

Where is the resemblance??

But I can agree that the cod4 cover art does look a bit like the Battlefield 2 cover art!? Was it maybe that game you meant?

the beta is on xbox 360 only right now, but infinity ward said they may make a beta/demo for pc

i think its kind of messed up tho considering that the pc was what launched the game to be a great success
