I am really curious whether the textures will be shitty upscales of the original material. For 80 bucks they better do it properly.
And if the only thing they changed/improved/whatever are the visuals and not there will be gameplay fixes or tweaks, you can count me out.

Where did you get the 80 figure?
It has been stated it's 60. And for that you get 3 full games with 40 DLC's. 10 of them are big story DLC's. Literally hunders of hours of content.

And yes they reworked ME1's combat and cover system. Character creator is now unified. Audio has been improved and there are fixes to animations too. Plus other more minor tweaks.

Apparently Pinnacle Station is going to be absent from the DLC's thanks to lost source code, and apparently concerns of censorship have grown due to altered cut scenes that showed Miranda's posterior and I think to avoid an awkward sitting animation of female Shepard in one of the ME2 DLC's.

Yeah when I found out about these tidbits it when from a 'must buy' to 'ooh, not going to tarnish the memory.' Only DLC, I'm missing is the citadel and figured since it's $10, and trilogy owners can upgrade for $10, there was no reason to think about it, just swipe that card but if this is going to be another WC3 remastered I'll settle with just the DLC.

Censorship over a cartoon characters butt, this push to be politically correct has gone too far, next they will make Yogi Bear wear pants.

ME1 was an reasonably good game, perhaps even a very good one if you skipped some of the grindier, more pointless bits.

ME2 was the complete package: Damn-near flawless plot, characters, and gameplay - and easily my choice for "game of the decade" despite launching right at the start of the decade.

ME3 was a disappointment, especially the original endings but the journey was fun and in hindsight it was inevitable that EA's interference would fail to match Bioware's achievement with the second game. At least the DLCs elevated the overall experience to be worth the playthroughs and the finality of the ending has also prevented the series being flogged to death like so much of EA's other IP.

The graphics were good for their respective launch dates, EA relaunching these now is nothing that modders haven't already done with HD texture packs. All this Legendary Edition achieves is an EA cash-grab and a distraction from the fact that EA don't have a sequel to Andromeda yet.

Where are people getting this kind of info from?

If there are any cuts, I'm not buying this out of general principle.

An interview with one of the directors on the dev team, pinnacle station was a known issue, it didn't make it to the ps3 version for the same reason.
