Because an AIO like this, unless expandable, is going to be a tight fit in a good chunk of cases.

Warranty is a non-issue. Most vendors won't have any clue if you just put the stock cooler back on before sending in for RMA, unless there's some clear evidence of water damage. And cards that have a waterblock already on them are covered by Warranty like any other card that vendor offers.

This card isn't meant for a "good chunk of cases". It was built for consumers with high investment builds who don't necessarily care about aftermarket water block options or separate kits. To me it would be extremely odd to see someone pair a ~$1,800 graphics card with a mid-tower case. Secondly the warranty is an issue, and manufacturers are keener to this than you are letting on.

The point is, you made a comment which supported different water blocks, or even reservoirs/pumps/radiators/tubing, this card is in all-in-one package with a warranty. If you are a consumer that desires a water block to your specific standards, there is a large water block market already established. So, to criticize manufactures for selling an all-in-one package because you would rather have a different water block is mute, and money wasted on a card like this anyhow.

Well the price is certainly toxic, so we are looking at around $3.5K in Australia at least for a few more fps than an already rip-off 6800XT.

We have now reached peak stupidity.

Here's an idea instead of spending valuable resources on ultra-niche crap that will sell in single digit amounts maybe concentrate on the more mainstream products.

Thing is, press shots of asus lc cards also showed no additional cables.

This is very true and that is why i'm waiting for a review.

Why? There is a whole market dedicated to waterblocks so you can pick and choose exactly what you desire. This card is for individuals who would like the entire setup to be preconfigured and come with a warranty.
For the same reason NVIDIA GPUs have a number of pre-waterblocked options; to have factory warranty on a card that already has been factory OC'd and had the WB attached. PowerColor was the only one to offer such in the RDNA1 generation with the 5700XT LiquidDevil, and now that RDNA2 has proven themselves (aside from availability), it'd be great to have some pre-waterblocked 6800XT and 6900XT cards. Thus far, only PowerColor has mentioned potential plans for a Liquid Devil 6000 series GPU, but Sapphire could jump in with an Atomic version of this card. Same goes for Gigabyte if they were so inclined, with their AORUS Extreme and Waterforce WB variants. The end cost roughly comes out the same in terms of WB + Card, with a slight markup thanks to factory OC/binning.

And from a different perspective, pre-waterblocked GPUs are less likely to sell to miners compared to air-cooled GPUs. Even AIO GPUs like this one would be a hard sell considering all the added extras being a waste (considering mining GPUs are tweaked for efficiency over pure power in order to maximize returns).

As mentioned, QDC's would be nice on this, as I personally would prefer a 280mm x 38mm radiator with my own choice of fans.
Not that I have a spare kidney to sell to be able to afford this.

Toxic...just reading that name makes me think about my Sapphire 280X. It's not the TOXIC version, but still. Vapor-X is another one.

At any rate, I'd really like to see lower-end cards get treatment like the super-high end cards get. Like maybe a 5600XT/6600XT (or whatever they're going to name it) getting the Toxic or Vapor-X treatment, perhaps. Why do the people with fat wallets get to have all the cool shit? Lol.

There's a massive AIO market that you can basically mount any of which to a GPU with a bracket...So do you have the same tune regarding that too?

6800XT is being sold for <US$1k where I live, while 6900XT costs over US$1.7K or even 2k, all brand new, from official distributor.

RTX 3070 starts from US$700, while 3080 is being sold for 950-1500. 3090 is even more ridiculous with US$2-2.4k.

The crazy thing is, I don't think this price is caused by shortage or mining, the crypto mining effect hasn't hit us yet afaik. This price has stayed this high since RTX 3000 and RX 6000 series launch.
Since the beginning, our taxes are pretty high, and greedy distributor already set inflated price tag.

From my experience back in 2017-2018, we still have several weeks or a couple months until the effect hit us.

This card looks great. If i didnt have mine at the moment I would have definitely gone for this one. Wanted the Asus LC but this one, it's just ridonculous :)
The price would have probably done an instant kill just by looking at it :p

To clarify my position again... No, I would criticize companies for not providing cooling solutions to their graphics cards.

Wow, that is utterly ridiculous. I mean, that VRM heatsink is bigger and has more heatpipes than a lot of ITX GPU coolers - and has a much bigger fan too. Are they expecting the VRM to put out >150W of heat? 'Cause I'm reasonably sure that's bigger than the heatsink on the Sapphire RX 570 ITX in my travel rig.
