For professional photographers, videographers, and cinematographers, a reliable memory card is just as important as using high-end cameras and recorders. In addition, since the advent of 5G, the demand for high quality has become even more prevalent. SP Industrial's "Cinema Series" line of CF memory cards meet the latest CFast 2.0 specifications for outstanding performance, making them ideal solutions for shooting high-resolution Full HD, 4K. Hoping to further support professionals in this field, SP industrial has set in motion the development of a CFexpress Type B card, the Cinema Ex. The card will join the "Cinema Series" family, and promises to meet all requirements of the most demanding users by fully equipping them with the tools to shoot videos in 8K.

When it comes to memory cards, CF cards are the superior choice for professionals as they are faster and more durable than SD/microSD cards. Their ability to reach incredible read and write speeds are ideal for shooting extreme sports and action shots as well as capturing wildlife and fast-paced motion. Their greater durability allows them to be used in situations that cater to the environments of this type of footage, including the rugged outdoors and the forces of nature.

CFexpress: Cutting-Edge Technology
The Cinema EX utilizes the latest in memory card technology to deliver the ultimate performance for the most demanding professionals. Equipped with CFexpress 2.0 Type B and PCIe Gen 3x2, this card packs up to 1 TB of storage capacity. Supreme read and write speeds up to 1,700 MB/s and 1,500 MB/s, respectively, ensure that no frames will be dropped for totally smooth playback in 4K or even 8K video quality. With one of the fastest write speeds around, it is ideal for uncompressed continuous RAW shooting of fast-moving action.

The Cinema EX is also loaded with features to make it the most reliable memory card on the market. It conforms to NVMe 1.3 protocols and adopts 3D TLC NAND technology to achieve its supreme speeds. It also has a built-in power protection design called SmartFlush; power will be shielded automatically during unstable voltage conditions and stop receiving commands in order to avoid data loss. Finally, it's equipped with LDPC for error correction, supports E2E data protection, and has a RAID engine data protection mechanism to ensure accurate and reliable data transmission and access. It is everything a professional photographer or videographer needs and more.

CFast: The CFX310 and CFX510
SP Industrial provides 2 CFast Type I form factor card models, both of which provide top-tier sequential read and write speeds, with slight differences to appeal to the unique requirements of the user. The CFX310 (Cinema Pro) with MLC NAND flash memory is available in capacities up to 512 GB with read and write speeds up to 530 MB/s and 330 MB/s, respectively. The CFX510 (Cinema X) with pSLC technology is available in capacities up to 256 GB with read and write speeds up to 540 MB/s and 450 MB/s, respectively. Both models take advantage of the SATA III 6 Gb/s bus to support these rapid speeds.

The CFX310/CFX510 were both designed to work in extreme conditions, reliably. They are protected against vibrations of 15 g at 10-2000 Hz, shocks of 1500 g at 0.5 ms, drops of up to 2.5 feet (0.75 meters), and they can operate in temperatures ranging from 32 to 158°F (0 to 70°C). If the card is dropped within these parameters, rest assured that both the card and the footage inside will be safe.

For full functionality and trusted use, the CFX310/CFX510 were both approved by Blackmagic. With their leading specs and reliable durability, they can capture uninterrupted cinema-quality 4K videos in the most extreme places that are sure to impress professionals with the highest standards.
