the bulldozer is one of the last that will use anything you can call as ddr or anything the latest tests are about new memory modules in vast capacities i.e 32gb something like ssd but with more speed on write and longerliving

K11 new released just before K10 is released?....seems weird to me, but makes sense cause that's probably how AMD's roadmap looks.

Yes but don't forget how much every company's been able to get some extra sales and advertisement such as this thread from HYPE. Hype has become and indrustry maker for many companies, even most of the ones we all use and preferr and that are quality. It's a strategy that works, hell that's just advertisement, but properly spread advertisement can be just as successful if it's tuned to stuitible buyers on their turf so-to-say.

I think the K10 and K11 series will be successful and AMD needs them both to be. I hope that they gain back what they've lost and then some, to continue pushing Intel, maybe making IBM get back in the game, and to continue showing the little guy can keep up and pass. Intel has made vast improvements in the last year or almost-two, but they lose focus too easily, and it's just enough for AMD to sneak up and take the lead. Both are competetive, and I'm not a fanboy to either, but what one gives me the best performance for the budget I want to spend and will keep me there for a while, and keep me content.
