ZOTAC may have inadvertently leaked the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. The latest version of its FireStorm utility mentions support for the RTX 3090 Ti. This would indicate that NVIDIA has been working on a new top-of-the-line graphics card that replaces the RTX 3090 as its most premium consumer graphics offering. Until now, it was expected that NVIDIA would hold onto the RTX 3090 as its top client product, with the gap between it and the RTX 3080 being filled up by the RTX 3080 Ti, to help it better compete with the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT. AMD's introduction of the new RX 6900 XT (XTXH silicon), and more surprisingly, the introduction yielding a 10% clock-speed increase, has changed the competitive outlook of the very top of NVIDIA's product-stack.

There are no specifications out there, but in all likelihood, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti maxes out the 8 nm "GA102" silicon. The RTX 3090 enables all but one of the 42 TPCs physically present on the silicon, and it's likely that this disabled TPC, amounting to an additional 256 CUDA cores, could be unlocked. This would put its CUDA core count at 10,752, compared to 10.496 on the RTX 3090. The only other area NVIDIA could squeeze out performance is GPU clock speeds—an approach similar to AMD's to come up with the RX 6900 XT (XTXH). The highest bins of GA102 could go into building the RTX 3090 Ti. The RTX 3090 already maxes out the 384-bit GDDR6X memory interface, uses the fastest 19.5 Gbps memory chips available, and offers a massive 24 GB of video memory, so it remains to be seen what other specs NVIDIA could tinker with to create the RTX 3090 Ti.

The 3090 has ridiculously high power consumption as it is. Just imagine what the TDP of the 3090 Ti might be... :fear:

I would like to think. 3080 ti 900 or 1000 euro.

Rtx 3090 price reduced in range to 1000-1250.

3090 ti will cost 1500, but we all know. We are talking about ngreedia. So prepare you wallets for 2000 euro.

They should put name titan rtx 3090 ti and fanboys are going to buy it for 3000 usd instead of 2000. Simple, really.

I mean lets be honest, we have seen that for apperently enough people even 1500 dollars is not an obscene amount of money.
Really dont understand where all this disposable income is coming from but hey, guess im the weird one.

To quote a many youtubers. 3090s have been "flying off the shelves" -- seeing the price that almost all retailers are charging i personally dont agree. I only think it looks this way because very limited stock and scalpers and miners buying up inventory with the odd filthy rich person who ran out of yachts to buy deciding to give PC gaming a go.

3090s are always in stock in the UK because no average joe earning an average wage is mad enough to spend 2-4 months rent and groceries on a single graphics card.

Would only make "sense" if it's 48GB. 3090 is like 2% cut down?
Full chip + same VRAM amount would not justify a Ti model.
Full chip + cherry picked / higher clocks + 48GB might, for some people.

3070 Ti barely make sense either, since it gets 8GB again, the extra bandwidth from GDDR6X will only help at high resolutions and 8GB won't age well for 4K+ anyway.

3080 Ti on the other hand, will gain the most, big increase in cores and 2GB more VRAM is great, but the card comes out almost 1 year after 3080 and prices are insane for GPUs so it will probably be pointless too

My 3080 will stay till RTX 4000 or Radeon 7000 launched thats for sure

One thing you guys aren't considering is that they remove the RTX 3090 from the market and replace it with the RTX 3090 Ti. This is the route I expect them to take.

Well, they needed an excuse to implement the limited hash rate on the 3090. So this would be it, I guess.

Nah you're not weird, I won't pull the trigger on a retail card at these price points. Happy to wait for a 2nd hand card that's actually got a reasonable price tag.

Looking at a $5K GPU in Australia if and when this goes on sale. Why not just sell the Quadro at a lower price without the certified drivers, whcih is the only reason they cost so much. No need for a 3090 Ti whatsoever other than bragging rights. I hope AMD does indeed release a 160CU dual GPU biggest Navi to steal their thunder.

2080Ti and 2080 were announced on the same day.

And have performance differences of around 20%-30%.

Try again.

Maybe he was thinking of the 2080 Super instead of the 2080 Ti. The 2080S released after the 2080, but both cards had the same MSRP of $699. Also the perf uplift from the 2080 to the 2080S is only like 7% if I'm not mistaken.

No biggie - I will wait for a pricetag I consider acceptable. Got my 2080 Ti back in November for $701 on ebay with a pre-installed waterblock. I had bid on about 40 of them up to that point and was happy to keep on doing so until I won one at a reasonable pricepoint.
