Razer announces the Iskur X, the latest addition to Razer's family of gaming chairs, ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and engineered for long-lasting durability. Featuring a steel-reinforced body, with high density foam and finished with multi-layered, hardwearing synthetic leather, the Iskur X is designed for long term comfort and support through even the lengthiest gaming sessions.

The Iskur X supports up to 136 kg, and features a sculpted backrest, giving more support along the natural curve of the spine. The 2D armrests reduce wrist and shoulder strain, while the angled seat edge maximizes upper leg and thigh support. With a multi-function recline, the Iskur X can be repositioned for the most comfortable posture for long play sessions.

Also launched today are the Razer Head Cushion and Razer Lumbar Cushion. Designed for use with any gaming chair, the Razer Lumbar Cushion helps set the spine in a neutral position, with ergonomic support shaping to the users back thanks to the memory foam padding. The Razer Head Cushion tops off the comfort with a dense memory foam core, adapting to the user's head shape for the perfect balance of comfort and support.

For more information on the Razer Iskur X, please see here. For more information on the Razer Lumbar Cushion, please see here, for the Razer Head Cushions, please see here.

Competitively priced, the Iskur X is the essential gaming chair for long term comfort and durability while the new Head and Lumbar cushions bring proper posture and support to every gamer. The Razer Iskur X, Head Cushion and Lumbar Cushion will be available for purchase from June 3rd, 2021, at 8 am PDT / 5 pm CEST / 11pm SGT.

Prices:
  • Razer Iskur X - $399.00 USD /€399.00 EUR
  • Razer Head Cushion - $39.99 USD / €49.99 EUR
  • Razer Lumbar Cushion - $49.99 USD / €59.99 EUR

I have a deathadder chroma mouse, blackwidow v2 keyboard, kraken tournament edition headphones, goliathus control fissure edition mouse pad. Gentlemen of Razer, it is good to inflate the prices. It is a chair for € 300 at most. And on top of that it comes without lumbar and cervical pillows. Really? Treating your buyers like this, we will stop buying from you.

agreed... this looks like a horrible chair. doesn't even look comfortable... a knockoff and massive massive mark up... just sad how no one is even trying to innovate with chairs...

I use a $109 executive leather chair from Target store... its very comfy and much nicer looking than these gamer chairs. leather arm rests too have been nice over the years.

Hey look, it's the same "gaming" chair that companies have been selling for the last 10 years! How innovative!

I look at the head rest on this thing and can't help but think the chair is made for pinheads. Consequently, small-minded people are also the target audience of this chair.

I spent a little over the MSRP of this chair for my SecretLab Omega chair, which I haven't regretted in the least, and both the lumbar and head/neck pillows came STANDARD. "This way allows customers more freedom of choice," Razer might argue. I would call total bullshit on that argument, because even one of those el-cheapo "gaming" chairs come with head and lumbar pillows. Sure, they may be low quality, but THEY ARE THERE regardless.

Perhaps they should have called this the Razer DLC chair, because that's exactly what the head and back pillows are. Even when they absolutely shouldn't be.

that chair looks like any other. What makes its better. That seat will not even fit my wide thighs.
$500CAD is just. These chairs really need to disappear from the market.
Whats worse streamers praise these chairs, so people buy them.
I spent $700CAD for a Nightingale Presider.

Another generic racing chair, this time with some fancy stitching and possibly a slightly updated SKU from the OEM. Still horrible ergonomics, still a backrest design encouraging hunched shoulders (protip: your arm position when sitting at a desk is not the same as when driving a race car), still piss-poor adjustability. No thanks.

They’ll stop making them when people stop buying them. Right now the handful of companies that manufacture this charge as well as the companies that rebrand them and mark them up are riding the wave.

Personally I uses a Herman Miller Aeron (with lumbar support but no headrest) and it really is my preferred chair. I have four of them. Each one cost me about the MSRP of this Razer chair.

You can even buy a rip-off racing seat for a car, then other components and actually make your own probably more comfortable chair.

In the US you can get them used for a good price due to many companies buying/renting them in large quantities, but outside of the US the only option is new, and that's crazy expensive. I got an Autonomous Ergochair 2 instead, and after getting it adjusted to my needs I'm very, very happy with it. Excellent ergonomics all around (though not for people with very slim builds).

Exactly the chair model I was considering myself, the Autonomous Ergochair 2. I suggested it to my Wife and she passed on it because she preferred the Herman Miller Aeron and got a tip on a good price. We bought two first time around and then months later went back and bought another two. Totally worth it if you can get a good price on it. The Autonomous Ergochair 2 would be my second choice though as a close runner-up
