G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is thrilled to announce the availability of the latest Trident Z Royal Elite memory series, along with the introduction of new high-speed, low-latency performance memory specifications at DDR4-4000 CL14-15-15-35 and DDR4-3600 CL14-14-14-34. Built with Samsung 8 Gb B-die ICs to achieve these incredibly low latency timings, these new DDR4 memory specifications are the ideal choice for building a powerful workstation or the ultimate gaming system.

G.SKILL is dedicated to developing high-speed, low-latency memory kits for high performance PC systems, and achieving an extremely low CL14 latency on high-speed dual-ranked memory modules is no easy feat. Created with Samsung B-die ICs, G.SKILL is launching the incredible DDR4-4000 CL14-15-15-35 memory specification with 16 GB modules for a 32 GB (16 GB x2) kit capacity. Below is a screenshot showing the memory kit on the ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI motherboard with the Intel Core i7-11700KF processor.

Raising the Bar of CL14-14-14 Low-Latency to DDR4-3600 Kits
Ever since the launch of the world's first DDR4-3200 CL14-14-14-34 specification in 2015, the demand has been growing for an even higher performance memory kit with the same low-latency. G.SKILL is proud to announce the release of DDR4-3600 CL14-14-14-34 with kit capacities that range from 16 GB (8GBx2) up to 128 GB (16GBx8), making this memory specification the ultimate memory kit for workstations or productivity PCs. Below is a screenshot showing the memory kit running on the ASUS ROG ZENITH II EXTREME motherboard and the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X processor.

For a full list of specifications, please refer to chart below.

G.SKILL has created this video to show off the bling of their new memory:

Availability
These extreme high-speed, low-latency memory specifications under the Trident Z Royal Elite series will be available via G.SKILL worldwide distribution partners in June 2021.

Pointless, especially when DDR5 will be available soon and this cost a lot. If this came out couple of years back, I can still justify getting it knowing that I can reuse it with newer CPUs.

Hmmm 1.55V sounds like active cooling will be required.

3600 CL14 looks given that it is stable on Ryzen. I wonder how much would they charge for a 16gb kit. Probably something like double of what's CL16 kit worth.

Edit.
Samsung B-die, so yeah, no surprise they're able to pull this off.

You can get oloy 3600 14-14-14-34 1.4v for 150 beaver bucks, so like 120usd?

They also had 4000 14-15-15-35 for more..

both kits of my ram do those speeds anyways..

Good brand? No compatibility issues with say ASUS / MSi motherboards?

My kit also does these speeds with abit more voltage than stock.

I checked the QVL for my board and they do have some on there, but with much looser timings.

I haven't heard of them before until a couple of moths ago.. thought they were a joke till they started selling sticks like that. I almost bought a pair a couple of times.. but I've spent enough for now I think.

tRFC is atrocious. TREFI seems like it would be set around 21,0000 (at 3.33% ratio). It's probably why they never show AIDA64 bandwidth/latency screen captures.

What took them so long?

The date in the taskbars in the screenshots are all very recent (last few days). I guess the date in the memtest windows are just the release date for the version of the software they're using?

B-die is B-die no matter the vendor. About the only thing separating the various brands are price and support but generally you won't need any after-sales service unless you're extremely unlucky.

Can't you get 3600 14-14-14 with just about any good kit? These 4400 Viper Steels can easily do that and probably for less than half the price. They run 3400 13-13-13 for me on freakin BWE in quad channel. And most importantly they are not gold/crystal :p

My 3200C14 Royals do 3200 12-12-12-32 1.45v, and have been to 4400 16-16-16- and all sorts of places in between. They are pretty flexible..

tRFC is always atrocious, it's XMP......

What, you expect an XMP profile to be pulling out 140ns out of the box?

I don't know about that Corsair uses pretty Crappy B-die and not the same that you will find in mid to high end Gskill modules.

Yeah, at what latencies? Not everything is bandwidth.

Where the average Joe can get some scientific approach on memory timings and OC? Usually most guides only throw some numbers without any explanation.

DDR5 could have shit timings, but awesome latency just from the speed alone.. we don't know yet, and those that do cant talk about it here.

I feel DDR5 will be good just based on what I saw with the big improvements to bank groups alone and standard bump in frequency and I think they doubled memory channels as well so each DIMM is dual channel which is huge though I guess that's probably what the bank groups change is essentially with how drastically it got overhauled.

I can't decide if these elite dimms are cool or a bit to much. Don't get me wrong, like some bling. I have two kits of g.skill royal z none elite off cause at 3600 mhz CL14 1.45 volts rated in silver and gold.

Impressive timmings for the clocks. But 1.55 volts is a bit to high for what I find safe. For B-die I think 1.5 volts shut not be above that for long time use.

Any way, I stick to the royal z kits I have now. These dimms are probably going to be expensive as heck. Royal z is all ready pretty high.

colorful did that year ago https://www.techpowerup.com/274708/...r4-4000-c14-memory-for-ryzen-5000-series-cpus
and it is without any heatsink, by overclocking memory i always prefer diy heatsink or without heatsink and plug memory fan which give me better result than any factory heatsink or memory waterblock . Ln2 is not applies for this case , i always pick some cheap domestic memory like gloway or hereday sometimes they use b die or c die even micron e die , as an example the adata 2133 cl 17 without any heatsink using cheap green pcb i overclock them to 3200 cl 12 or 3600 cl14 for 20$/1 8gb stick
just my personal opionion any ln2 overclocking so pointless and pretty much the performance kinda same at the end of the day, i would invest more into cpu/graphic card or mobo/cooler to squeeze out the best performance that i could get at the reasonable price . Paying double for 2-5% more is not worth it
