I'm not necessarily saying that you're incorrect. I'm pretty sure that when it comes to the internet, it's a free-for-all between people from different nations. So DeathtoGnomes isn't wrong, and neither are you, as weird as that sounds.

But we should probably get back to the main topic. I personally have no idea what NVIDIA was thinking when they showcased these "not for sale" products. To me, it just seems to add insult to injury. I've never cared much for tech halo products, and I couldn't care less for such products during a chip shortage.

Im sure some of them will eventually surface on Aliexpress. Nvidia will quietly backpedal and only do a limited batch of these cards for the Chinese market.

I personally have no idea what NVIDIA was thinking when they showcased these "not for sale" products. To me, it just seems to add insult to injury. I've never cared much for tech halo products, and I couldn't care less for such products during a chip shortage.

It does seem to be a tone-deaf response to the market conditions. How about flooding it with the lower-end cards that a lot of buyers are waiting for, rather than a rare version of the rarest GPU.
