Chieftronic Unveils the M2 Gaming Cube Case

CHIEFTRONIC, the gaming-focused brand from CHIEFTEC, is proud to announce the launch of the gaming cube M2, building out its case portfolio with a mesh front panel for optimized airflow and 2x Tempered glass for a perfect view of the system. The Chieftronic M2 is the next upgraded iteration of the original M1 gaming cube case for significantly improved performance.

The newly designed front panel incorporates mesh for optimized airflow, the increased number of stock fans to 3 pieces, and the added support for 240 mm radiator in the top panel, in addition to the front support for 280 mm radiator, makes the M2 a very capable case for a high-performance gaming rig. Side panels made from tempered glass allow a clean view of the installed system and the case comes with a certified A-RGB control hub.

The front panel has some design elements, so at least its not boring block of mesh or glass like everything else out there, I don't like the company logo front and center. I'd also rather have solid side panels as an option, I don't need to see inside PC 100% of the time.

It looks like they took design elements from the Chieftec Hunter and added it to the M2, compared to the M1. I bought a few pallets of these cases (I run a SI) and I wasnt happy about the M1. So this is a clear upgrade.

It would be, if Aerocool actually owned the design. But since it does not - there were plenty of cases on Alibaba with exact same design for years, even before DS come out... Probably not.

I even read somewhere that Chieftec was actually OEM for DS, but can not find where now... It is probably false, though.

The Spire TT cube and Chieftec CL-01B-OP also use this exact same chassis. They're probably all made at the same factory.
