Oh man I wish I would have put more money in it. I bought it at 29

Microsoft and pony are taking a loss because they have to pay AMD, along with other component makers. There's no point for AMD to work on their APU if they are making pennies.AMD is way overvalued right now. I mean yeah everything sells out quick true, but honestly these are very very niche markets, eventually everyone will have a decent PC within this niche market and have no need to upgrade for 5 years or more. I mean I am using my gtx 1070 laptop and maxxing out FFXIV mmo at 165 fps 165hz 1080p and having a blast... at some point you just don't really need horsepower anymore unless you play the latest AAA games (which suck a lot here lately anyway so meh)
(also they can't be making much money on PS5 or xbox series x... I believe both sony and M$ are taking a loss on each sale of the console if I remember correctly, which prob means means pennies in profit for AMD)
I give it two years or so, AMD will probably reach $140 a share at its peak but then crash to $50-60 share range once the market is no longer in demand and the shelves are saturated with stock. but nothing wrong with riding high while you can so more power to them.
Nvidia however will keep rising and rising, Nvidia has its tentacles deep into the healthcare world now and AMD does not, and thats where the real money is at short and long term.

We're in the biggest financial bubble in history. A huge crash is coming, you better believe it. Apparently it could be as soon as later this year.
That is so funny. AMD never had a stock dump quite the same in the near past like it was first a speculation for Nvidia. At the time there were mixed reports, some were saying stock would go up and others bringing the issue up. In the end, both turned out right.Nvidia however will keep rising and rising, Nvidia has its tentacles deep into the healthcare world now and AMD does not, and thats where the real money is at short and long term.
Ironically, Raja Khoduri's damage is being erased. VLIW was always to be the better choice as it turned out to be in the end. Eric Demers needed that post more than the indian turncoat.Microsoft and pony are taking a loss because they have to pay AMD, along with other component makers. I think it was really odd, how when covid first started, the stock market tanked like to levels seen at great depression levels of drop... then within two months had bounced back to almost normal levels.
Seems weird to me, a little fishy. lol @RandallFlagg thoughts?

I'll believe it when I see it.
Well, we are completely desolating our soils because we can't leave fungi to breakdown fertilized soil for fear of dysentery. We have to have hooved animals upheave 'naturally' fertilized soil at the rainy season because that is how the ecosystem is designed to function. Otherwise we have erosion since fungi is not getting the stimulus it needs from plant matter and fresh livestock fertilizer. We also have to create more wetlands, but thanks to indians and their high level of intelligence we have rediscovered underground dams which elevate my hopes for humanity.I think climate change is happening faster than we anticipated, compound that with what Shatun just said above. I recommend buying seeds and growing your own food over buying stocks.

We also have to create more wetlands, but thanks to indians and their intelligence we have rediscovered underground dams which elevate my hopes for humanity. We can fix this if we change our course - water needs to be stored in wetlands and livestock need to fertilize and upheave soil at the rainy season "on the spot" to turn around soil erosion.
I am not seeing a way future without fully organic ecology. I mean there has been crazy experiments that proved their exception. Stupid darwin ideologues killed some 20000 elephants and not upturn erosion there and reluctantly admitted that "biology is good". What I hate most is a moral looter like a lamarckist in the pretext of darwinism. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. A great book. There are a couple farms doing farming it the proper sustainable way, but not very many sadly.
No worries, they will be again there. Pumping money in consumer hardware sales just give good return on investments (from pockets of the customers). It is supported by thin air, not more than that.Yes and many people here on TPU even warning others away from purchasing the stock.
