TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.41.0 Released

TechPowerUp today released the latest version of TechPowerUp GPU-Z, the popular graphics subsystem, information, monitoring, and diagnostic utility. The latest Version 2.41.0 comes with support for the Windows 11 operating system (ongoing pre-release builds), including the ability to tell if the graphics driver conforms to WDDM 3.0 standard. Support is also added for current and upcoming GPUs, including Radeon RX 6600 XT, Radeon PRO W6800, W6600; NVIDIA CMP 90HX, 50HX, 40HX, 30H; and RTX 3050 Laptop GPUs based on GA107-B.

TechPowerUp GPU-Z v2.41.0 also improves on several fronts. We've improved the TMU count estimation algorithm for unknown (upcoming) NVIDIA GPUs, as well as clock speed detection on AMD RDNA2-based Radeon PRO GPUs. The GPU-Z installer now adds version number of the installed GPU-Z to the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs list, to better work with Winget, the new Microsoft package manager. AMD "Navi" rated clocks will now always be shown in Advanced Panel, even if the reported clocks are 0. A "BIOS reading not supported" error with certain laptops that have NVIDIA discrete GPUs, has been fixed. The ASUS ROG-branded GPU-Z has some UI touch-ups. Die-size and transistor counts of AMD "Cezanne" APU and certain older AMD GPUs, have been fixed. Grab GPU-Z from the link below.

• Added support for NVIDIA CMP 90HX, 50HX, 40HX, 30HX, T1000, T400, A100-SXM-80 GB, A10, A5000, A4000, A3000, A2000, RTX 3050 Mobile Series (GA107-B)

Weird, when I try to install it my AV is giving me a warning....

I tried downloading from NL server and after that from US server 1, same.

When I click to "remove this file" GPU-Z will startup but it didn't get installed.

Never had any issues before when I tried installing a new version of GPU-Z though.

When I click to "remove this file" GPU-Z will startup but it didn't get installed.

It isn't actually detecting anything. It's just using heuristics to block it because it's a new file that their botnet hasn't seen before. I know which piece of software I think is more likely to harm my computer out of GPU-Z and Norton.

If it is possible I suggest moving to Malwarebytes, not perfect but it at least knows what to block.
No issues here with the new version and thank you for your hard work developing this tool more.

yeah I love malwarebytes. I have beta mode enabled on it too and a lifetime subscription for it i got many ages ago.

I think it's one of they highest (or the highest) product they have. ..Very expensive per year, 99.95 UKP per year.

It seems you did not read my previous post:
My AV works fine, using it for several years now, never had any issues with it, just now this warning when installing the latest GPU-Z.
As I said before:

I can download it and scan it and it's safe, it only happens when I try to install it,

the only changes to the installer script are that it writes the version number to add/remove software, which it pulls from the GPU-Z instance that started the installer

The only thing that's likely changed is you are downloading it early before their botnet has had a chance to register the internal packed installer as a "safe" file.

I can download it without issues and once downloaded my AV says the file is safe. It's just the moment when I try to install it.

Edit: Tried installing GPU-Z 2.41.0 again today and it's still the same.....
