SilentiumPC Gear, presents the new GEM Plus as an addition to its gaming mouse portfolio. One of the major advantages of the GEM Plus mouse is its ultra-light weight of only 67 grams. Paired with the cutting-edge PixArt PMW3370 sensor, it is capable of reaching DPI levels of up to 19 000. This allows it to track mousepad movement at astonishing speeds of 10,16 m/s. These specifications combined with the ability to adjust the Lift-Off Distance (LOD) within a range of 1 to 2 mm, make it very attractive for professional Esports players. Other distinctive features include the highly durable Kailh GM 8.0 microswitches with an estimated lifespan of 80 million clicks, along with the soft and flexible paracord-like braided cable, which is near-imperceptible during intense gameplay sessions. Just as with all their other products, SilentiumPC Gear have uniquely tailored the mouse to the exact requirements of even the most demanding gamers.

In order to top the leaderboards in online matches or pass that near-impossible level on Ultra-Nightmare difficulty, precision and short reaction times are absolutely crucial. This is why the GEM Plus mouse is equipped with the high-precision PixArt PMW3370 sensor, which makes all the difference. As the player becomes more experienced, the speed at which they are able to move the mouse increases. During the finals of a Counter Strike: Global Offensive competition, record-breaking mouse speeds of over 6 m/s were documented. This is why the PixArt PMW3370 sensor was selected, which is able to record the movement of the GEM Plus even at speeds of up to 10.16 m/s! What this translates to is extremely accurate movement readings, even during the most intense gaming sessions.

Another advantage of the PMW3370 is the option to adjust the LOD within a range of 1 to 2 mm. By changing this value, users can set the distance at which the sensor stops registering movement when raised from the desk. This feature improves control and allows the user to adapt the behavior of the mouse to their own individual playstyle. The sensor also provides the user with a huge range of individual sensitivity settings: from as low as 50 to even as high as 19 000 DPI. Regardless of the users individual preferences or the type of game being played, the GEM Plus will never fail to accurately record mouse movement.

In real-world conditions, reaction time is just as important as precision. Formula 1 drivers are able to react to race start lights within 100 ms, that's only 1/10th of a second! Professional Esports competitors have recorded similar reaction times during intense events. The equipment necessary for such demanding users must be able to perform, no matter what the scenario. Thanks to the ultra-fast Kailh GM 8.0 microswitches, it takes less than 2 ms to register a button press and pass the information on to the computer. These high standards are also met with a microswitch lifespan of 80 million clicks.

The GEM Plus is incredibly light mouse at mere 67 grams. Due to this novel full-shell design, the mouse is also characterized by its high durability and stiffness. The side walls are etched with a small, characteristic triangle pattern, further improving user grip and control. This ensures that the user will never lose their grasp, even during the most intense online firefights.

Thanks to its ultralight construction, low inertia, and PTFE skates, users can also expect reduced fatigue of the hand and wrist muscles, which ensures higher effectiveness during extended gaming or work sessions. The symmetrical shape of the shell and minimalist style, complemented by triangular accents and a fully configurable ARGB backlight, make the mouse a very aesthetic addition to any enthusiast's arsenal.

The GEM Plus is able to move across surfaces with minimal resistance due to special PTFE skates. The rounded edges of the skates also make it easier than ever to move the mouse across the mousepad. All these features combine to give the user full control over the mouse at all times. The skates also work well on a wide variety of mousepads - standard, control, or even speed types. An additional set of replacement skates is included, meeting the requirements of even the most demanding competitive gamers.

Convenience and performance are key, but appearance must not be overlooked. That's why all the illuminated elements on the GEM Plus are fully customizable. Everything from the scroll wheel to the light-strip on the back of the shell, as well as the logo on the top of the mouse can be modified by the user. The addressable-RGB LED backlight allows for full control over the colours and effects depending on the user's preferences and the style of their computer setup. The GEM Plus also allows users to assign a backlight style to defined profiles, so you can immediately tell which profile is currently selected.

Availability & Pricing

The SilentiumPC Gear GEM Plus is available from today with the MSRP of 44,99€.

Waiting for the "Rosey Palm Mouseless Mouse" where your hand simply gestures, moves, points, bends fingers, etc., to manipulate the pointer on the screen. We have Alexa/Cortana already, so Rosey might not be too far off. The concept is already out there.
