Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has shared details on the upcoming 1.3 patch, which should be hitting all platforms sooner rather than later. This particular patch is the first one that doesn't specifically focus on only bug and performance fixes, in that it also includes the first pieces of free DLC CD Projekt Red has announced even before the games' release - and towards its spectacularly negative reception between media outlets and gamers alike. These free DLCs are really small things for now, too: there's an alternate appearance for Johnny Silverhand, a couple of jackets (Multi-layered Syn-Leather Deltajock Jacket and Luminescent Punk Jacket). In addition to these two, and the new Archer Quartz "Bandit" vehicle.

General performance improvements are expected to be reached with this particular version due to the addition of Dynamic Resolution Scaling, which enables the game to change rendering resolution on the fly so as to achieve a particular framerate target. No support for AMD's FSR on consoles as of yet, and one has to wonder why: it would be a relatively straightforward way to claw back some performance, particularly in the underpowered, last-gen consoles that have been hit the most by the games' performance issues. A gazillion (it's not a scientific number, only an approximation) of quest and bug fixes have also made it into patch 1.3, and represent the vast majority of the developer-hours it took to develop this particular patch. There are also improvements to performance in Screen Space Reflections, and an increase in the amount of available save slots. "Last", but not least, is an improvement to the minimap - it should now zoom out whenever a player is in a vehicle, so as to allow pilots to actually be able to react to curves as they appear on the map... eight months after the games' release. You can look for the full list of fixes over at CD Projekt Red's blog post.

Its curious why CDPR choose to refer normal bugfix as ''free DLC''.

A DLC doesn't have to be a whole expansion

Lost interest a long time ago.

Same, glad I stuck with my gut and canceled my pre-order a long time ago. Honestly even when it's fixed in full, I have no urge to play it anymore. Heh

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
From watching a few youtube channels, there's a whole bunch of stuff that was axed to meet the launch date, but for which assets are in the game - like the metro system to take just one example.

I'm hoping that the inevitable "big content DLC" will be able to finish some of these half-baked, wasted assets and finally keep some of the many broken promises.

The poll should be a bit better because right now the "no" answers seems like one of those things where you admit that you wont change your mind even when presented with evidence of the contrary.
I vote no because the game is less then a shadow of its promiss and I am pretty much 100% convinced it wont even come close either, which is why I vote no.

You did miss some pretty neat stuff ;) I'd definitely pick this up once they've patched it proper, and the content is all released for it. I know I will, having finished the story, but only if they flesh out the rest a bit more, which really, they should.

But in terms of immersive qualities... this was a winner, at least for the first dozen or so hours. General gameplay is also quite enjoyable. But after that, you start noticing all the stuff that's so silly you couldn't make it up.

Well maybe in a couple years when all expansions are out, etc. I will then. I still haven't beat the Witcher 3 expansions and I loved the main game. I found combat in Witcher 3 to be a little overrated, but I am looking forward to playing and beating the expansions someday still.

Only reason I am waiting on Witcher 3 expansions, is because I want to be able to play it at 144hz 1440p maxed out no frame drops. So I need to wait for next gen graphics cards. /shrug

Uninstalled the game from my systems a few weeks ago so I can use that 70GB for something more worthwhile. Haven't played it in months.

I'm pretty much waiting for them to release real modding tools (think along the lines of Creation Kit for Bethesda games, not the extremely basic stuff they've released so far) so that the community can fix the game. I find CET to be too janky and limiting (though still amazing for a community-made tool). I'd love to see a No Mans' Sky type comeback, where it's basically a different game after all of the patches, but CDPR's roadmap doesn't give me any confidence.

I hope a proper modding tool release would cause a Skyrim-like situation. The modding scene for that game is incredible, with complete game-mechanic overhauls and even total conversions like Enderal.
