Never heard of it.
What is a godfather of street fashion?

I Googled it. seems to have middling impact in east-coast US, pretty much irrelevant/obscure in RoW outside of a few one-off, low-volume collabs with bigger brands. Definitely not world-famous. Still not sure how the term godfather applies at all!

Eh, I liked it better when HP and Toshiba tried chasing the hip and trendy college student/newly graduated student market with their garish laptops and peripherals. Toshiba had the glossy "Fusion Finish" Qosmio and Satellite series, and HP had those laptops with replaceable lids in an assortment of color styles and similarly painted portable mice.

My guess is that he's one of those guys that you won't know unless you are deep into the street fashion culture. I've heard of Asmongold (biggest streamer of WoW) because I don't care much about the streaming scene of wow, that changed when the guy started to paly FFXIV (Wich I care about)

Are you talking about Dell with their replaceable covers, or Acer with their Ferrari model?

I really like the Cinebench R15 score: 944. Now that is Porsche design.

Things that have made laptops worse in the last 13 years:
  • Chasing ever thinner proportions at the cost of key travel, durability, ports, adequate cooling performance, battery capacity, backlight quality & uniformity
  • Flat, chiclet keyboards with pathetic travel, no sculpting and poor ergonomics
  • Sharp-edged wrist rests/palm-deck
  • glossy glass trackpads
These things which acatually are worth copying from the certain company you're hinting at - they are either not copied or the copy is a poor-quality attempt.
  • Solid, high build quality of unibody CNC'd chassis
  • Factory calibrated, sensible-DPI display with good gamut coverage
  • The largest possible trackpad the device can reasonably fit
  • Quality speakers
  • A webcam better than 720p30
  • Clean, minimalist design that doesn't have RGBLED, angular bolt-on cosmetic plastic crap, or Gundam-themed robot samurai styling.

I almost get sick watching people being interviewed at home on laptop 720p@30fps highly compressed low-bit rate video. Some of these people have a regular gig on TV and yet don't have a proper camera.

The pet/children antics in the background are worth watching. ;)
