True, I can't stand their icue software; but the hardaware is not always fine.
On my Corsair Dark Core, the left button started double clicking after two years and now the mouse wheel is failing also.

Meh sounds better than i normally get out of a mouse, time for some soldering and get a new button, on the wheel side it might be just dirt over time which some CRC electrical cleaner should clean that up.

Only the SS Sensei Wireless is the only one were i never got a double click issue after 4+ years now, but the buttons are a little heavier to press.

Install it once , setup whatever you want to setup and delete it , nowadays peripherals have memory to store settings .

Yeah it's been about a year since I last installed the software. Hardware profiles work well. Mouse/KB/AiO.

Still sounds better than the Razer Naga 2014 I had. That mouse literally broke on me about 2 days after the 2 year warranty was up....plus constant tracking issues. Sounds like at least you got more time for your money with Corsair over Razer.

Could be true, it's Corsair. I don't understand the appeal of expensive gaming mouse. Tried using the $30, $60, and $100 one, aside from personal ergonomic preferences and design, I don't see the advantage of more expensive mouse. The button, sensor, and everything work very similarly. My $40 Rival 3 wireless feels more more than adequate for gaming and daily. I'll never consider any mouse that priced beyond $50

I agree, i hate the icue software and my M65 RGB elite has the same issue with the left mouse button, prob gonna go Asus next as i already use armory crate for all other RGB etc

You ever use a Razer mouse before? If you haven't, avoid them.

I have a white/grey IntelliMouse from Microsoft that I've been using for the past 12+ years. I use it daily at work over my last 3 jobs....so it's actually been 15+ years since I got it. I used to have two of them, but I gave the black one to my younger brother some years back and he used it for a while and I'm not sure whatever happened to it. The mouse still works just fine, no issues with left or right mouse buttons. Scroll wheel still works and the side buttons work. No tracking issues.

I've also got a Logitec G502 that I used for 3+ years that still works like the day I got it. It just has some wear on the paint from heavy use.
I've been using my Zephyr mouse for the past 10 months. The scroll wheel on it is kind of lame, (not very sensitive, you have to do a lot of scrolling compared to other mice I've used. It's a known issue and is supposed to be resolved in the next version of the mouse) but it does work and no button issues or tracking issues.

When I'm done being lazy, who knows when that'll be, I'll eventually box up my Zephyr and get out the G502 to use again.

There are a bunch of videos out about fixing corsair mice since they use garbage grades switches. I myself don't have that time so i pile them up one day thinking i'll get to them. Wish i didn't like corsair mice.
