NEVER install previews of Microsoft updates. There's always some kind of trouble.
As for Win11... I have the recommended hardware, but I am not installing it until Windows 10 is not supported anymore.
Right now, there is no better MS OS then Win10. It's polished, quick and mostly clear of bugs.
After turning off those game modes and xbox stuff, telemetry and cortana bullshit you can even say it's secure and private.
I also deleted Microsoft Store altogether. Now I just need to find a way to delete Edge for good so it doesn't reinstall after update and I'll be golden
There won't be a great number of feature updates, but in my opinion that's for the best.

this isn't a new version, this is a skin for W10, they even forgot to rename 10 to 11 in some screens, and introduced "w11" features on 10 like the new system menu useless top bar

From early reports no big deal except moving stuff around/ changing context menus "which is funnies part" lol plus the new obnoxious security requirements

Have fun with it if you use and like 11 so far I'll hard pass
I've thought about it and interrupting flow of a linux install on the one machine I might have installed 11 on out of two machines that will pass the new security requirements I'm just not interested 10 is fine and well I don't much use it so no point in jumping through any hoops for 10.2 renamed to 11.

Umm that's not how things work. The last thing you want to do is send anybody, regardless of corporation, security etc., any of your data. And by you sending your telemetry data, you are not helping your country. Just an FYI.

I didn't mean that i am helping my country whatsoever with my telemetry data...i meant if my browsing history and other craps they want, i wont mind sharing if necessary caz nothing is there to hide.
Unless you are a criminal, no one has to worry about telemetry. They wont bother digging deep into porn fest history and stupid google searches.

Since you're from India, lemme give you a localised example. Privacy means when you criticize a politician, the BJP IT Cell won't be able to track you down and doxx you and your family to endless harassment. And in this case it's even a moot point. Your Windows 10 telemetry isn't even going to Indian security agencies. They're going to American ones. Similarly your TikTok data isn't helping India, it's helping China.

if one is smart enough, instead of just criticizing a political party that wont affect them anyways, i would better show my disappointment and anger on next election.
btw tiktok is banned in India. All I wanted to say that I don't understand why people just jump on spying stuff when OS is just released. Every time I read something posted about Windows, people just complain n blame, however at the end of they day they will just install that shit anyways.

I now need to see if Shut Up Windows10 is updated to Shut Up Windows11 so I can force-disable telemetry, and also wait on Stardock to update Classic Shell for Win11 compatibility.

Only reason I'm considering Win11 is mainly the DirectStorage feature and improved core awareness. Now if only I can disable TPM restrictions, that'd be perfect.

at least if you have TPM2.0 .... which not even the Microsoft Surface Book (Series 1) has ("only" TPM1.2 .... which is "not enough" ...). But whatever. I'll update "as soon as" the MS-SB is not enough for my mobile work and my two dual-xeon stations (2690v1 and 2670v3) stop being enough for my work and gaming needs - which might be some time before that happens.

Windows 11 will be fine. As with any new OS you don't jump on them on release.

Not really where have you seen any of my post in TPU telling people this OS is bad stay away with a tin foil hat on. You can search my post history going back the last 15 years. I'm on Win 10 now and will move up to 11 when I feel the time is right which won't be in the first 6 months.
